Publix Super Markets

Friendly place, fresh food, sushi chef can make any type of sushi even if it’s not on the menu we come there all the time with my wife. Their pad thai also reeeeally gooood :) come and check it out you won’t regret it.

I love shopping at Publix and like to get subs on Sunday’s before the game but the past few trips have been really disappointing. The setup is really inefficient, especially if two people are working, which you need when it’s busy. It looked like a manager was working the station but she was visibly not in a good mood and when I ordered my sub, roast beef with lettuce and tomato and onion and vinegar, she put on my vinegar before the lettuce and originally loaded on onions as if they were lettuce until I asked her to lighten it up. I love the fact that they have a sub station, but if you’re going to work it, take pride in what you do. Clearly that’s not how you make a sub and it’s very frustrating when you can’t build the sandwich yourself so you are forced into having to put it in the hands of someone else who isn’t really interested in making sure it’s good. I still love Publix and won’t stop shopping there. Just wish they cared a little more about the sub station… later when I unwrapped my sub, I found a raw mushroom, so…

publix in duncan, sc is by far the best publix around. they will go over and beyond to accomodate you for anything you need.
if the store does not carry the particular item (s) they will be happy to order and stock it for you.
the store is always neat, organized, and clean.
the best part of shopping in the store is when you visit the meat/​butcher department as there is an employee by the name of doug, that will accomodate you on any choice of meat or poultry, etc… .
doug is also ready with a great big smile (no extra charge ;)) to entertain you with his awesome humor.
this store by far is the best grocery store around because they value their customers with many services others don’t provide or offer.

The service here is ALWAYS excellent! And the digital coupons are the best! We love the variety and everything about this location.

The store (the whole chain, actually) will give you an item free if it does not ring up with the advertised discounted price. One time, I got an item that the weekly flyer said was on sale. But when I went to pay for it, the sale was not applied. Management went and checked and the sale was not posted on the item and it didn’t ring up as on sale, so they didn’t charge me for the item.
Also, if you’re a coupon junky and the store is out of an item, they will give you a rain check that honors that coupon amount, even after the coupon has expired.
The men who work in the meat dept. are fun! They’ll sit and chat with you and have plenty of recipe advice.
The restroom has ALWAYS been clean in all the nine years I have shopped there.
All in all, a very pleasant shopping experience.

The best major chain supermarket in the area by far.
Most of their private label goods rival national brands.
The sub shop in the Deli is excellent.
Purchased several birthday/​occasion cakes from the bakery — perfect transactions.
Well thought-​out merchandising make it possible to get the basics and they usually have what you need for that off the wall recipe too.
