This place is the worst. They claim to service Macs but when my mother brought in her Macbook they almost destroyed it. They kept the computer for a good two weeks and called my mother and me several times, each time with a different diagnostic issue. Eventually they said it would need a complete system overhaul and would cost $ 600(which was what my mom paid for her computer). I told them to go to hell and I took to the computer to a friend of mine in MD who specializes in Macs. He fixed the computer in an hour and charged me $ 60. He also pointed out that the people at Store 34 didn’t know what the hell they were talking about. Besides the awful experience with my mom’s computer, the experience of the store itself was also pretty awful. I went in there around 1130⁄1145 on a weekday morning(after I made sure to check the hours online and on the door). The door was open and the lights were on but no one was there. I knocked on the door that appeared to lead up to an apartment and I heard a dog bark but no one came down. I waited for a good 30 minutes for someone to come and help me. I saw my mom’s computer, along with several other computers, lying out on the counter. I could have very easily have taken all those computers – along with all their merchandise – and been halfway to MD before the store employee came back. When the employee(or owner – I didn’t bother to find out) got back with her niece in tow she didn’t even apologize for making me wait. She gave me my mom’s computer and charged me $ 50 for«diagnostics.» She did not apologize for the delay or the incompetency of her tech people. I got out of there as quickly as I could. I guess the market for this sort of thing is small in this area or they would have been out of business ages ago. Don’t waste your time here. Make the extra effort to drive to Harrisburg or Camp Hill to get your computer repaired. This place is awful.
