I come to the Dundee area to visit family frequently. Without having to drive to Clarksdale or Tunica, it’s tough to find a fine dining spot. By that I mean non casino, casual fine dining. This place is it!
I got the 10oz NY Strip medium rare along with the Skillet Shrimp for an appetizer. I had been warned how good the shrimp were and I was not misled. Wonderful. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The pasta side kicked ass too. The bread… the bread really deserves its on paragraph. I asked for extra bread to take home which they kindly obliged to and ended up eating it all with my meal instead… then I got some more! The brownie desert is heavenly too. I’m going home now to make the couch my home for the next 12hrs.
It’s small, very casual, and very quaint. It looks like just some place you go to grab a burger when you get off the lake but it is much much more. Try it. Five stars for what it is and where it is, all day long.
