I was with a group a friends on our way to LegoLand in Florida. Looking for a place to eat before heading into the park, we looked up what was good around the area. Initially difficult to find as the map directed us to a residential neighborhood near by, we did find the place located int he shopping center near by. Simply the best Cuban Sandwich I’ve ever had. The owner also gave us a sample of the chicken and rice and that was simply delicious. Reasonably priced and just good home cooking. Certainly a hidden gem and well worth trip.

Had the roast pork, yellow rice and black beans! All had nice flavors to it! Also ordered fried plantains and beef empanada! I didn’t even get a chance to taste the empanada! The kid says it was very good! :) Definitely worth going back for more!

I had the rice with beans and pork. It was so good. Very well seasoned. I also got the bread pudding and flan to go. They were both delicious! The flan reminded me of the one my mom makes :-D Go if you want a great home cooked meal.

Best Pollo Guisado in town. Stopped by here recently looking for some good Spanish cuisine and found this place. Loved the amotsphere and service. I ordered the Pollo Guisado with beans and rice. Not many places can hit a good Pollo Guisado outside of New York or other latin American countries, but man oh man does Mirthas Café hit the spot. Definitely recommend stopping by for either quick lunch takeout or dinner with the family.
