When we visit downtown Dunedin to grab a bite to eat, we always stop by to paw over the antiques. Barbara Flowers, the owner, is always cheerful and helpful in hunting down what we are looking for. On our last sojourn, we were after some depression era ice cream/sherbert bowls. There were several sets to choose from and Barbara was knowledgeable about all of the items that we were looking at. We finally decided on some conical shaped emerald ones(see pic) that were perfect for our needs and sensibilities. Please stop by and see what they have.

What a find, especially for depression glass, and vintage kitchenware aficionados. I found a set of vintage, hand-painted canisters which were such a bargain, I toted them back home to Chicago. The owner came down in price from what was already a good deal in order to compensate me for shipping and then very carefully wrapped each piece for the trip. I saw many colors of depression glass grouped together and was sorely tempted by a set of deep blue drinking glasses. The dishware is carefully displayed and easy to look through and I can’t imagine how she keeps them so clean. I will look again if I ever find my self in the area.
