I brought my laptop computer in to ARCTech Repair. It had been running increasingly slowly and I was getting error messages. Some of my features had stopped responding. I was afraid it would be a costly time consuming problem to repair and was resigned to go shopping for a new computer. To my utter delight I brought it to be looked at by ARCTech. A young man named Von took care of me. He was friendly and professional. My computer was repaired in 1 day. The cost was very reasonable (under $ 100) and my laptop runs better than it did the day I bought it. Thank you Von at ARCTech!

I recently got my iPhone 6 Plus screen replaced here. It was fast and cheap (as cheap as an apple product can be). The office has a waiting room with a TV, water and some physical reading materials but I really enjoyed the dissected electronics hanging in display boxes. After the screen was repaired I had an issue with the mic not being lined up with the screen’s mic hole. I took it back to ARC and they fixed it for free within minutes since they have a 1 year warranty, and Eric gave me a screen protector for my troubles.

Excellent business! These young guys know their stuff and will make you happy or a refund is easy to get. Had a bad iPhone battery, they replaced it but I wasn’t satisfied with the life of the replacement battery. I went back a little embarrassed but they treated me with integrity. All happy now!

Even though I am experienced in repairing electronics, I found the prospect of replacing my iPhone 5S battery rather intimidating. You see, the TouchID home button is connected with this tiny frail wire that, if severed, ruins the TouchID fingerprint function. Installing a new home button will not bring back the TouchID function. That was enough to convince me to seek out professional help.
Fortunately for me, ARC Tech Repair was close by. I spoke to owners Eric and Ron [EDIT– Vong, not Ron] and asked them the kinds of questions one might ask of a surgeon — how many times have they successfully made the repair? How soon can I get my phone back? Can I watch? Well, the last one I wouldn’t ask of a surgeon! I was reassured that it would be quick, painless and at a bargain price as well.
Their offices are located on Belcher Road just south of Main Street Dunedin. First appearances count and ARC delivers. I was pleased to find clean floors, freshly painted walls decorated with phone «tear-​downs» in shadow boxes, a comfortable waiting area and a few neatly arranged operating rooms. Vong greeted me while he helped another client.
The client apparently had a complex repair with her phone so Vong loaned her an iPhone which he setup with her info. He then kindly and patiently tutored her in its usage. Later Vong explained to me that he and Eric opened the shop to provide premium customer service and expert repair for people who really need their cell phones fixed right the first time.
Though I didn’t meet Eric, I did get to watch Ron repair my iPhone. He managed the tiny screws with dexterity and speed. These screws are half as big as a grain of rice! The delicate TouchID ribbon cable came off neatly. The battery was glued in with adhesive which he removed with some effort but without any damage to the iPhone frame. Clearly he has done this hundreds of times. I chatted with him as he reassembled the phone. The repair I dreaded was done in just a few minutes and with great success.
Its rare to meet a technician with excellent skills and a fantastic customer service orientation. Vong and Eric will help you overcome ‘repair anxiety’ while actually fixing your phone!
In case you are curious, my phone works great! The phone no longer dies when the battery reaches 30%. Its a miracle!

Not kidding. These guys are professional, knowledgeable, and have business acumen beyond their years. It appears that they have a nice waiting room for some repairs that can be done ‘on the fly’. My repair required an additional part not in stock so I left my device for pickup in a couple of days.
They Fixed my phone (shattered screen), were courteous, timely, and overly helpful. I am extremely delighted with my experience and am confident in the one year warranty they offered with my repair.
DO NOT take your electronics to one of those sketchy places you see advertising elsewhere. These guys are the real deal and have comparable, if not better pricing. 5 STARS may not be enough in these days of Grade inflation, but will suffice for now.
They also offer services for laptops and home computers with free diagnostic analysis. If, no, when I need help again, they are the ones I will call.

Came in today as I thought my screen was shattered on my new iPhone 6s. Easy to find their location. The service was great. He looked at my phone and pulled of the screen protector to reveal my phone wasn’t broken and only the shatter shield was smashed. What luck!!! I was very appreciative of their time– make sure to come see ARC people!!!

I had all kinds of problems with the charge port and a broken screen on my iPhone 4s, so I walked in one morning to see what Eric and Vuong could do to help me. With a smile on each of their faces, they answered all my questions and gave a good quote for the repairs I needed. Then off to work they went, making my screen look new again and my microphone sound crisp. I couldn’t be happier.
The work was quick (the screen took about 20 minutes) and while I waited, they offered fresh coffee and let me use a shop iPad. Heck yeah.
Hopefully my technology doesn’t require any more fixing, but if it does, I know I’ve got the help I need at ARC.
