We have always felt good about the service and cleanliness of Dick Carroll’s in Dunedin. They are local and generously support local organizations, which is what community does.
When our car battery died, I called to see about a replacement. After a quick look, they determined it was under warranty. I then brought in the car and thought I’d need to pay for some part of the replacement, but was told I owed nothing. In fact, when I called initially, the service technician had been mistaken about the date, and the warranty had run out. I was told that, due to our loyal business, there would be no charge.
I don’t know of any franchise that can match the personal touch of this locally owned and operated company. The personnel are always friendly and the waiting room clean. My battery was replaced in less than an hour, not even enough time for me to finish the tv show that started when I arrived. :-)

I have been taking my family’s cars to this shop since 1995. You couldn’t ask for a more competent, and more honest place to work with. Richard Carroll and his team are the answer for anyone who wants dealership quality work at independent shop prices. My 1997 Jeep Wrangler will never see another mechanic. Plus they sing like the Vienna boys choir during the oil changes.

Family owned and run place. I’ve always been treated very well and the guys there are super nice and don’t seem to be out to scam anybody. Pretty quick service and reasonably priced.
