But it’s really no big deal.
Not important enough for me to harp on.

The place is organized well,
Though the aisles are kinda tight.
If you can’t find what you need,
The guys up front will steer you right!

Positives: The store has an excellent selection of wine from around the world.
Negatives: the organization is haphazard at best and the staff are ignorant about wine. The staff is also extremely unhelpful, basically consisting of a bunch of guys who stand behind the cash register and ring up purchases. They cannot even be bothered to help look for anything.
IMHO, this is a good place to buy a bottle of Johnie Walker Red and a cigar, which is apparently what most of the customers do. But, for anything else like advice on wine, go to a store like Total Wine.
Luekens has received the last of my money.

Best selection and prices in Tampa Bay! Great craft beer selection, the rum variety is unbelievable! And the prices can’t be beat! The Dunedin store is the oldest one but most of the Luekens Stores around Pinellas have great variety and prices. The also have great cigars!

I hate to write this but I can’t recommend ordering online from these guys. I ordered three 6-​packs of Sixpoint Resin from them (you can’t get it on the West Coast). After a week I called to check on the shipment and was told that it was damaged. That probably should have been something I was made aware of.
They told me that a new shipment would be sent out. Sure enough, it arrived a week later — only there were 12 beers instead of 18.
I called to inform them of the discrepancy and they said they only had 12 in stock. Again, probably something you should have told me. They said a credit had been issued back to my card.
Well…it’s been three weeks since those 12 beers shipped out and I still have yet to see that credit. Emails have been sent but they aren’t returned. It’s a bummer — the prices for out of state shipping aren’t bad but with this kind of customer service and substandard delivery you really should seek out other options.

I am definitely a fan of Luekens in Dunedin! This has been my main store to shop for spirits since I first arrived to Florida eight years ago and always pleased with the staff as well as the wide variety of adult beverages available. You won’t be disappointed if you shop there :) They also have a very decent walk-​in humidor with a nice variety of cigars as well.

Great variety! Wish there would be one like this one near home. Not a big drinker, but very picky.

Chris in the online sale department needs to learn some customer service manners. I ordered 2 bottles of whisky — Yamazaki 12 & Willet for almost $ 200 — and decided in only wanted the Yamazaki.
I ended up cancelling the wrong bottle, and then cancelled the second order. After reording they Yamazaki and another bottle, I got a smarmy condescending email from Chris asking if I was going to cancel the new orders too and that he wouldn’t ship until he heard from me!
Hey Chris — I’m the customer! I’ll cancel as many orders as I want to as I’m paying top dollar for the product!
If this wasn’t just about the only place in the US that has the Yamazaki in stock I’d cancel that order again!

I had friends spending their 40^th Anniversary at the Phillies Spring Training Camp. I called Leukens and arranged for 2 bottles of champagne to be delivered to a local hotel. The staff was very accommodating. Thanks!

Chris in the online sales dept. is the BEST… I wanted some GTV Watermelon and it was sold out… He placed me on the list, and as soon as it came in, he called… My GTV was shipped with no damage and it came ON TIME!!! Thanks Chris!!!

Once again they were very helpful and friendly, they are always my go to place when I need certain items for special ocassions and birthdays and the prices can’t be beat!

I always forget about this place until I am running late for as party or need a quick gift for a friend. I generally run in and run out without much staff intervention because it’s not the type of place you make conversation with the staff. The staff is generally nice if you need help picking out wine to go with dinner the staff here may not be able to help. So go with a plan. The lighting is poor so don’t be surprised if you pass up what you are looking for. The prices are great and the selection is large

I recently moved to Dunedin and zeroed in on this place thanks to Unilocal!This place is bigger than i expected and has good selection of wines, liquor and beers at good prices. They also have a good craft beer selection and I was surprised to see the beer I used to buy back home at Puerto Rico (Medalla Light). It was hard to find it in south florida unless you went looking for a Bravo supermarket. I dont yet know anything about any free samples like i read in other reviews but I am intrigued !! I also gotta keep an eye out for the discount rack too. What I do suggest is that they dust a bit because some bottles are gathering dust like crazy. It is located in not the prettiest strip mall and the clientelle– well you see a bit of everything… some seedy ocassionally… But you go in, get what you want and no problem !

If I could give them a zero I would. I ordered a case of special wine to be used as gifts. When I order a full case of anything I expect it to arrive as a case should — in the original case from the vineyard. My «case» of wine arrived in a shipping box. All the bottles were dusty with damaged labels. There was only ONE bottle out of twelve that did not have damage on the label and could be used as a gift. I emailed them repeatedly with photos of the damaged bottles and never even got the courtesy of a response. There is no way I can use these as gifts. If you want dusty bottles with damaged labels go ahead and use them. If you expect your bottles to arrive in «new» condition take your business elsewhere. Customer service is pathetic.

One of the best places to get craft beer in Pinellas County. This store and Shep’s are my favorite. They have a great selection. Be prepared to search and sift through things as the craft beer section can be disorganized. Also, be sure to check dates on bottles because although they have a great selection, some things can get lost in the shuffle. You may find a rare beer, but it could be past its prime. The prices are good as well. If you’re a craft beer lover, you should definitely check out this place.

Wow, this place is a maze of fabulous beer, wine and endless selections of liquor and specialty liceurs. I literally got lost in here trying to locate the vodka aisle, even with the large sign indicating that vodka is in aisle 1. Oops. Not only do they have a great selection, but the prices are very reasonable and there were a ton of items on sale.
They also have multiple sampling options offered on the weekend if you’re looking to try something new before you buy it. The staff are all friendly and happy to help you look for an item. I would definitely go here again.
P. S. They have BACON liquor, yes, BACON liquor. Must. try.

HUGE selection of liquor and wine! I had no idea how many brands and flavors of Vodka existed in the marketplace — selection is overwhelming.
Prices seem reasonable encouraging impulse buys ;)

As others have said in the existing reviews, the beer selection at this Lueken’s location is both extensive and impressive. I was here for maybe only 15 minutes while in the Tampa area for the day one day last week, although I easily could’ve spent 1 – 2 hours just looking around. I saw many beers in here that I’d never previously heard of or seen.
I talked with an employee for a few minutes, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked him about several beers, and although he didn’t have them in the store at the moment he provided some good tips and advice about where I could find them.
Prior to heading into town, I placed an online order on the store’s website and was very pleased to hear back, before heading to the area from Orlando, that each of the items I’d inquired about was in stock. The quantities I requested were set aside for me and my order was completely fulfilled. I was and still am very impressed. If you’re looking for something special that you just can’t find elsewhere, give the Lueken’s site a chance — there’s a good possibility that they’ll have it in stock, whether that’s at this store or at the others. (There are two more in the area.)
If I lived closer or was in the Tampa area more often, I’d be here all of the time. This place is great! Highly recommended.

As many have said before, the strip mall is not the prettiest, the clientele not the upper crust of society, but the selection of wine, beer, spirits, and cigars are outstanding! So is the service too.
My Bride recently found out that she has family members in Italy that own a winery. Lueken’s is the only place we can find the Red wine, so a star just for that!
We asked Tim if they could get the white wine too that was not in the store. He called the distributor and said it would be in next week. The next week Tim called us to say they had received the white wine. Great customer service!
I enjoy a fine cigar. If I’m waiting for my shipment of cigars to come in and in need of a good stick, this is my go to place. Wide selection of fine cigars from all the best cigar makers. I will admit that the prices are a little steep on some brands, but it’s a solid store when in need.
