spent a scary 24 hrs here through 11pm yesterday, 9⁄12. however, the entire staff, from the cleaning folks through my cardiologist, was extremely friendly, compassionate, highly competent and kind. they made what could have been an over-whelming event to go endure alone as fine as it possibly could be. in particular, both evenings i had the same nurse-tech tag-team of ali and chentell, who were both great. ali is hilarious — she kept me laughing which i totally appreciated. she also seemed highly competent, compassionate and kind. chentell is a bit shyer, but very skilled as well. if you take just a little time to get to know her, you discover the interesting, caring person below her calm exterior. their families actually share living space *plus* the 2 friends request to work shifts together, so you know they’ve gotta make a great team! i compliment dunedin mease both on its staff as well as its newly remodeled rooms. i could surf the net and watch movies on my t.v., access the free patient wifi, and even charge my phone with a spare charger they found for me. all calls from the room phone, whether long-distance or local, are free. it felt more like dunedin mease hotel at times. no one seeks out a hospital emergency, but if u do have one to deal with, i could not recommend bay care’s dunedin mease any more highly. meanwhile, stay well!
