Sadly I don’t think this is open any more. We came by at Noon on Monday and there appeared to be no one around. I could be wrong. It could be seasonal. I’m not sure. But in any case, I can’t truly rate it, only to say that No one was there.

I really honestly am obsessed with this place. I found it on a Sunday walking around Dunedin. At the time the kitchen was closed and they were out of baked goods, so we order a couple of iced lattes to go. Lattes were okay but keep in mind, going to a tea house for coffee is silly! Anyway, we came back a few days later and got the Cream Tea For Two. I highly recommend it! Basically you get 2 scones with the works(clotted cream, sliced strawberries and jam) and a pot of tea for 2. The woman who owns it is super friendly. The music is perfect and the smell… Oh man the smell… Reminds me of Christmas! It’s a cute romantic place and I would recommend it. Prices are awesome too!

They might deserve more stars, but I only had tea … so far. The tea was very good, the scone small(compared to the ones I had in the UK), but served with fresh strawberries. The service was friendly and efficient. I’m looking forward to going back.

This is where the old British Delicious used to be.. . But better! We had steak pasties, Scotch eggs, and Old Speckled Hen. All very good! Service was good, quick, and friendly. The inside is spacious, clean, and repainted. No more clutter, yay! Owners are super nice and food is fresh and tasty. I plan on making more trips to this place soon.
