Weaver Park is Dunedin’s youngest park, but probably my absolute favorite. I’m a complete amateur when it comes to photography, but I enjoy taking sunset pics, and for me, this is the premier place to do it. The park is split in two by ALT19, so if crossing from the parking lot or picnic area, be sure to use the crosswalk. All of the local drivers are aware of the foot traffic and yield to pedestrians, but if your cross anywhere else, do so at your own risk! There is a public restroom located in the SE corner of the park on the east side of ALT19, right next to the Pinellas Trail. Plenty of parking, lots of pavilions, large playground for screaming kids and some picnic tables.

This is a hit for my kiddos! We love this park. There is always parking and when I’m coming by myself, it’s a straight shot to the play ground. The playground itself is in great condition. There are a lot of things for the kids to play with. It’s appropriately spread out and the kids aren’t on top of one another. The bathrooms are a hit or miss. I’ve been there sometimes and there are no issues, but others have left something to be desired. It makes for a great walk around the park and to be extended to the nearby gorgeous pier or to downtown for some ice cream!

Right off of Pinellas trail past downtown Dunedin and alt 19. Very nice park that has tables. Shade and bathrooms. There is also a great pier. I’ve fishes there quite a few times but nothing worth talking about. If you just want to catch some tiny junk fish then it is great and never crowded. Also always good people there. I’ve gone during lunch just to sit at the end of the pier and have seen dolphins and manatees. Please note this is considered a fishing pier and dogs are not supposed to go on. I love dogs but don’t understand people that ignore this. Dunedin is so dog friendly you don’t need to bring Fido where there are hooks around. Also if you bring a young child don’t let them run crazy around the hooks and knives. Also there are barrels we are blessed to have this pier. No reason to or do our part and keep it clean and trash out of the gulf. Finally beautiful sunsets. Walk the pier and sit on the bench at the end or park your car I the pier side(two parking lots) and enjoy in the ac or for those that can’t walk so well.

We have been coming here since it opened… great place to take the pugs for a walk and watch the sunset. There is a pier that goes out into the Gulf, just a great place to go for some peaceful time with nature…

Loved this little park. There is a crosswalk to a pier across the street and it backs up to the Pinellas Trail. Bathrooms are clean. Shelters and grills available for picnics and the coolest playground equipment ever! My kids all had a blast. We will definitely come back to let the kids run around after strolling around or grabbing dinner in Downtown Dunedin.
