30 Burgers & Mike’s Subs and CheeseSteaks

Found a gold mine! The subs are delicious! All the ingredients are fresh and they are consistent. I ordered the same thing 3 times and they were all the same and delicious. You really should try this place out

Very disappointed since new owner or just the expansion. Whatever the case, my cheese steak was horrible and tiny and more expensive. No more fries thrown in with the order either. I will b going into Middlesex to Lucas for my go to cheese steak place from now on.

Clean, spacious and well lit! Yeah now for the goods! The food was awesome. Burgers with kicks of flavor that just drop down to your elbows. As usual my husband ordered a burger and I got a chicken sandwich. We both say in silence while we are. He ordered the special which had fried onion straws and other tummy toppings. I ordered the sandwich with jalapeños and guacamole… so good! The fries were also tasty and seasoned well! Yes to becoming a repeat customer!

30 Burgers is an extension of 25 Burgers, and makes one of the better burgers in the area. I am psyched to find this out! My wife is eating her favorite bullseye BBQ burger (onion straws) and I’m getting the burger of the month, the OMG butger (angus, bacon, jalapeños, onion straws)! Things are about to get juicy!

I went to this place for the 1^st time about a week ago and total messed my order up and overcharged me for something that I did not order. I was delayed with my order and the customers that came in after me all got there food before me. Poor counter service. I ordered my wife a Greek salad and I did not get what the menu specified. Overall They corrected there mistake and the food was not that bad considering that I waited a long time for a order.

This place used to be good when it was Mike’s Subs and in the smaller location, but now the food is horrible. Tonight I ordered a 8 or 9 things for a bunch of my friends. They got the 99% of the order right, which is good. The only thing they messed up is that I asked for cheese fries and they gave me seasoned cheese fries. No big deal.
My friend and I ordered a cheesesteak. Mine had jalapenos. Both of us did not like them. It’s not that thin slices of chopped up steak like you’d expect. This seems more like an actual steak cut up into bite size nuggets. It appeared to have cooked at such a high temperature it over cooked the meat. There were some super chewy parts that seemed like fat/​grizzle. The first bite I had like this I was chewing for like 2 minutes. The other two that I got like this I had to spit out.
The inside of the place is huge. It’s like the size of Mike’s Subs original space and half of the pharmacy. It’s way too big for what it is and it was pretty empty inside. Kind of reminded me when you yell «hello» and it echos back three times «hello hello hello» and this isn’t even an Adele song. They could have made more money renting half of it out to someone else. The interior is white and uninviting. It has no character or soul.
Prices are high. it’s Mike’s Subs. They’ve always been high priced. I would have liked to go back to see if the subs are as good as they used to be, but I doubt I’ll be back. My Mom used to go here when she lived in New Jersey (before they remodeled) and she’s coming for a visit for a few days. there’s only so many places you can cram into one visit and I wouldn’t recommend this being one of the places.

Best cheese steaks around! I don’t eat here often because I try to watch my weight, but when I’m in the mood to chow down, I wouldn’t get a cheese steak from anywhere else.

Drove by and decided to try this place out. The interior is huge and a bit bare, but seemed neat and clean. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful.
We ordered the California cheesesteak and the A1 burger (and free seasoned fries with Unilocal check-​in!) The burger was cooked well, had a lot going on in terms of sauces and toppings, but somehow worked really well together. The cheesesteak however was pretty dry and bland. It might be our fault for ordering a «healthier» sounding cheesesteak.
Will likely go back for another burger, and maybe to try a different cheesesteak.

Renovated and ready to go. New and improved menu with a large slection of item’s to choose from. I had the pastrami melt and it was very tasty will be back again.

OK in my «Guy Fieri» voice. I ordered the smaller of the two cheese Steak specials for under $ 10.00. Mine was the «California Cheese Steak plus Jalapeños»
When it came out, there were NO Jalapeños on it so I had to go back to the counter. I then went to put some ketchup on my Fries and the bottle at our table was empty so yes I had to get up AGAIN. The owner was here and was friendly on his was out even stopped and asked how everything was.
Now to rate the food. OMG the rolls were amazingly soft and fresh. The Steak was actually Steak not the cheap crap others sell. The Fries were better that most fast food places. Over all, YES worth the walk across town to get here.

So I ordered a whole cheesesteak, which was 16 $, but it was really 2 cheesesteaks. Each half was plenty for an entire meal. The steak in the sandwich was almost like beef stroganoff, very wet and saucy. That said, I thought it was delicious… it’s just not what I think of when I go for a cheesesteak. Overall, I’d be will to drive 15 minutes to get this again.

Excellent deli. The portions are huge and I always leave feeling full. The sandwiches are great and they gladly accommodate. I prefer the cold sandwiches, but the hot are good too.
The only thing I don’t like is that they close at odd times, but that’s really my only complaint.

Just showed up to order a cheesestake for sunday football. It is currently 3:45pm. They said they couldn’t do it because the grill shuts off at 3:30, despite the hours claiming 4. Terrible customer service. I just walked out. No plans to come back.

This place has the best cheesesteak in NJ. IT WAS PURE PERFECTION. I’m not sure y there are not more reviews on this place. The staff were all polite and the environment was clean. I order a Philly cheesesteak with pepper, onions, and white American cheese. I lucked out ang received a free bag of chip and a can of soda by checking in. Monday thru Thursday you recieve free fried with any cheesesteak order. Everything was so fresh and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be returning her for another cheesesteak.

This place was always a fav sub shop of mine… Prices are cheap and the food is excellent!

Not too bad, prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. Better then chain deli food.

Next to Dunellen train station, good place for breakfast or lunch. I like the Taylor ham sandwiches. Decent burgers, fries. Not fancy but OK food.
