We had a bee hive the size of a beach ball in our fireplace just behind the glass doors. The first guy who arrived, John, was kind and competent. But when he realize the extent of the problem and size of nest, he called for backup. The owner, Ken Drummond, then showed up, visibly irritated, angry and in a hurry. When I told him I wanted to wait to hang a tarp to partition off our very open floor plan, he refused to wait. A minute later, I noticed the three cans of insecticide he brought in our living room were clearly marked for outdoor use only. When I asked him about it, he got huffy, said he was a professional, didn’t want me questioning his expertise, and abruptly stormed out of the house and drove away. Without a doubt, the owner of Comfort Pest Control, Ken Drummond, is the most offensively rude, ill-mannered, discourteous, unprofessional person I have ever come across in my thirty years of owning a house. In retrospect, I am so thankful that he strode out of the house in a tantrum, since I would definitely NOT want him actually doing any work on my house. Ever. DONOTRECOMMEND. EVER. I am editing this review after I read Drummond’s comments below. All lies. I received no email about the pesticides the day before, in fact, he came the day I called. No email was sent before or ever. And the aerosols marked for OUTDOOR use only were the ones he wanted to use INSIDE the house. That’s why he got huffy and left. Never once did he say he was going to bag the nest, only spray it, with the cans he brought in the house. OMG, please don’t use this service. He is rude AND a liar.
