It doesn’t get better than this! They have the best produce season after season. EVERYONE that has had my salsa says that it is the best. I owe it to the superior ingredients I buy from yericos. :) Now they have flower greenhouses and i cant wait to go check it out!

One of my favorite spots to hit for good olé wholesome locally grown fresh produce from June until November! For the last 4 years they have received the Readers Choice Award for the«Best Overall Country Market» and there are reasons for that. Let’s start with the staff — including the Yerico family themselves. No matter who is running the stand — you can count on pleasant friendly folks proud to be offering the areas finest! Now let’s continue with selection and freshness. Because they either grow it themselves or get it locally — it’s always fresh and and OMG the corn — best way to have corn on the cob as Jon Yerico taught me is to: Soak it in some salt water for a few hours in the husk itself — no need to husk it first. Then leave it in the husk and grill it until some of the leaves have been burnt. Now husk it, apply spray butter and hot sauce — oh yea! The selection is always based on what’s currently in season at it’s peak. Nothing beats the taste of a WNY grown tomato and you cannot beat a BLT without their tomatoes! Let’s talk strawberries — when they are in season — you have to give Yerico strawberries a try — they make those big California ones taste like crap! Beans, Cucumbers, Peppers and the list goes on and on. You might even see some Amish bake goods or someone’s bake goods — oh so good. There looks to be limited parking, but you can park behind the stand as well. So — it’s almost that time of year when the signs go up and the eating gets good. If you happen to drive by — stop — take a look around and tell them Traveling Tom sent you. They accepted credit cards last year, but I always bring some cash as farmers all enjoy getting green!
