Ace Hardware

This location in Lakesite has become my ‘go to’ site for items needed in the hardware arena. I can find everything I need for repair and maintenance of my dad’s 40-​year old home, from tarps to tacks, propane to paint, keys to knives… it’s a 21^st Century Hardware Store, folks!
It retains an extremely high level of customer service — heck, these guys seem to genuinely WANT to be there to help you! Case in point: On a recent cold, blustery, damp Sunday afternoon the line for propane refills stretched half-​way across the parking lot. Someone asked the fellow filling our tanks «How did you get stuck out here today?» The fellow looked up, smiled and said, «Hey, I’m just happy to have a good job!» Someone else asked, «How long will you guys be open?» (It was nearing closing time). His reply? «Till the last customer is served!»
Need a key made; a plumbing valve; a tire for your mower? Drive NO further!
The store can sharpen bush-​hog, mower, hedge trimmer blades and/​or chain saw blades, and maintains spare parts for outdoor maintenance equipment. They are an authorised Stihl dealer, too!
This spring, they’ll have flowers for your beds, and sets and seeds for your garden, as well as landscaping materials for the spring fix-​up!
