The staff is very friendly. They do have a workout area. It’s great being across the street from a grocery store(Price Chopper). WIFI is essential though and the network can’t seem to handle volume here. I stayed two nights and it never really worked. I would stay here again because the hotel is clean. Bring your own pillow though, you’ll sleep better. Oh, and go to breakfast EARLY. If you got to breakfast at 8, you might as well drive to Dunkin Donuts which is less than a half of mile away. The dining area gets very crowded. Pet friendly but very little grass for the pup to do business. Grass can be found to the right of the entrance.

Perhaps I am biased after a slew of crappy hotels, but this place was a bright smirk on a crappy week. Obviously we’re talking a 2-star level hotel, but the service was more toward’s the 4-star feel. Very friendly and attentive hosts that actually made me feel welcomed like a real guest even as I arrived at mid night. Shockingly spick and span clean with comfy fresh beds and a nice modern TV. Fridge and microwave in every room, 24-hr coffee!

Overall decent experience while staying here for business. A friendly staff & a clean room are really all a hotel has to provide to meet my expectations; the Quality Inn accomplished both. I was given room 118, located on the first floor right outside the breakfast kitchen area. It was nice not have to bother with elevator but the sounds and smells of the kitchen made for an early morning. Only hang up for me were the doors of the first floor rooms. They seemed dated and didn’t flow with the modern style of the hotel lobby. Plus the room doors had a very old and grungy card reader mounted on them. Not a great first impression. Might be time to upgrade. I really liked how a previous reviewer took time to explain what was nearby the hotel. I will echo them and say that there is a shopping center next door with a Price Chopper Grocery Store, Beer Distributor & Fine Wine & Spirits Store. In terms of dining options, there is a Wendy’s and a great beer bar called the Loading Dock, both in walking distance. To summarize my stay with two word descriptions: Friendly Check in Old Doors Clean Room In-Room Refrigerator Crowded Breakfast Average Coffee Budget Friendly Good Location Walkable Beerbar

Stayed here 4 nights while in the Scranton area and loved it better than 2 other places I have stayed around here. The price was great for having a fridge, microwave and safe as a standard in every room. Was really cool to have that without having to ask or pay extra. The 2 front desk ladies I saw and spoke to while here were both really friendly. The bed was comfy. I left the cleaning lady a note asking for more towels and she left them. Wifi was great on my laptop and phone. Close distance to food, gas, groceries. The place was clean and quiet. Was way cheaper than comparable places in the area, got a really good deal booking online on their website directly.

We had a great nights stay at this Quality Inn and the people were very friendly… Elaine, at the desk told us about a local restaurant, Chaplin’s Honky Tonk… beds were so comfortable the breakfast was a good value for the price hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, sausage gravy biscuits…

This place isn’t bad and would be 4 stars if wasn’t for a few things. 1) All the women who work there seem like very miserable people. I did not see them crack a smile once while I was there. They seem to see guests as a nusiciance to be put up with, not exactly a welcoming atmosphere. 2) The internet is spotty, the main reason I picked this place was the free wifi, it worked only half the time and was very frustrating to use. 3) The pillows were useless, way way way too soft . Sure the place smelled a llittle funky and there were mild cosmetic issues with my room but they also has a «busniess center» and a complimentary breakfast. I paid $ 70+ a night for this place but other quality inn’s I have stayed in in more high rent areas such as california cost similar and did not have these issues and were nicer in general. The customer service was probably the most disappointg part. Their depression ruined by day everytime I saw them. Just did not seem like a good deal.
