Nice little rest stop off the 5 because it’s RIGHT next to the freeway and it literally takes 10 minutes to hike down to the fall. It’s a small one, but you can go behind it and even leave your handprint with natural red clay paint! There’s not really much other than the fall but it’s calming and refreshing to see!

This is the best rest stop, right off the freeway, quickest, easiest little hike to a pretty amazing waterfall that is beautiful year round! Follow the trail past the waterfall to a lookout with an awesome view over creek!

Hedge Creek Falls is a beautiful little hiking spot just a stone’s throw off I-​5 in Dunsmuir. A well graded dirt path leads less than ½ mile downhill to the falls, where a 50′ tall stream of water pours over a rocky lip. The trail goes behind the falls and back out the other side. Be sure to check out the views from both sides and from behind.
