The stuffed chicken was absolutely amazing. The service was great and very personable. I will be back!

I love this neighborhood place. Quaint, quiet, not TVs. I can always come here for a relaxed evening out. And if I don’t know what to drink or eat, Lauren the owner and chef will whip me up something good.

I visited them for lunch, and never having been there, asked if the Grouper was fresh or frozen. I was trying to determine whether to order a salad or the Grouper Sandwich. I was told the Grouper was fresh, so I ordered the open faced sandwich. Sadly, the Grouper was not fresh; rather, it was a frozen fillet that had been pan seared. It tasted fishy and it was very chewy. I took it to go and threw it out! I will say the Asian Slaw was delicious. It was fresh and sweet. I would have given this establishment 2 stars had it not been for the friendly service!

I went there for lunch today and there wasn’t many people in the restaurant and I still wasn’t served for 20 minutes. Then they took even longer to take my check. The food was pretty good but the service was very slow and that made my experience much less enjoyable.

I have driven past this place for several years. So the wife and I decided to give it try. I had the barley beef soup and the wife tried the Asian slaw both were very good. For our main course I had the Beef Tenderloins and my wife had the Grouper. I liked mine a lot the wife thought the grouper was good but not great. A great small Resturant we will be back.

My aunt and uncle took us there for dinner Saturday night and I was quite impressed. I loved the atmosphere and food. Atmosphere: it was so quaint and I would compare it to a large dinner party. There couldn’t have been more than 10 tables and there was only one server who was also the bartender but she was so at ease with each table. In fact, the atmosphere is such that quite a few of the tables(who didn’t know each other) started conversing. It was quite lovely. Food: Not pricey at all. For a Saturday night dinner I think the most expensive entrée was $ 20 and the wine was a typical $ 8/$ 9 a glass. My meal was delicious and prior to being served the chef sent out an appetizer of Asian slaw which was wonderful. I understand the appetizer sounds more like a side, but if you saw the amount as well as the presentation and taste you would understand. In closing I can see how this place would continually bring back regulars. Thanks!

Had a celebratory lunch here to wrap up a project. Great choice. Cute place tucked in a strip mall with plenty of personality yet quaint and quiet so you could talk without shouting to be heard. For lunch the menu features salads, soup, bistro favorites, quiche, panini’s and wraps. Based on the Unilocal reviews I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad(Chopped Napa cabbage, carrots, crunchy toasted noodles with chicken, lightly tossed in a sesame ginger dressing) and so did my lunch partners — with one exception who ordered The Best of Both — the Asian Chicken Salad with a scoop of the Classic Chicken Salad(Poached white meat chicken mixed with fat-free tarragon sour cream, walnuts and grapes over greens). Both salads are outstanding and the portion size is generous. The owner lightly dresses the Asian Chicken Salad(which is chopped to perfection — no need for a knife) and kindly offers extra dressing AND additional salad if you’d like. Talk about customer service! While not inexpensive, the food is fresh, fast and delicious — and the owner is very friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been foolish for not coming here sooner! Quaint atmosphere, lovely & personable Chef/Owner, and fantastic cuisine. Dined on baked Brie bites, Chicken stuffed with feta and spinach, and finished with Chocolate cake. Everything was divine. Our server was attentive, sharp, and a student at Vanderbilt. We will be back.

The menu is small, but the dish I had was delightful. I’m being conservative w/my rating until I make another few visits. Small menu tends to translate to good focus and excellent dishes. So far so good.

The owner, Lauren, is as sweet as they come. She will do anything to make your dining experience great! It’s limited menu for lunch or dinner, but everything I’ve tried has been great! My favorite are the fresh grouper dishes. Yummy!

I stopped in to the Dunwoody Bistro at 1:30 pm on a wednesday and took my choice of tables. Three ladies — one of which waited on me –chatted it up. But otherwise I dined alone. I took the best table but there is an ample bar for single diners. Quaint is the word to best describe DB. I ordered Asian Chicken Salad which came right out and was just what I wanted from that dish. Hey I liked it

I met a client at Dunwoody Bistro yesterday for lunch at her suggestion. The restaurant was very quiet, calming and the food terrific. My unsweetened ice tea was freshly brewed and my Asian chicken salad was awesome. I appreciated the salad was chopped in such a manner that it was easy to eat with a fork, no need for a knife. The accompanying pita bread was soft and fresh. My client had her favorite, the quiche with a side of Asian salad. I loved the place and want to return to order the salad again.

Very small menu, which is good. A vegetarian dish, a fish dish, a spectacular duck dish. Food is pricey, For quality. Service is one person, she surfed her laptop and texted all night. Good enough, but not great.
