Floors and Chores

Overall great job by Kimble’s team. We had an afternoon appointment for unloading services. Though the team was several minutes late, Kimble and I spoke twice on the phone to keep us updated of his arrival due to a previous job that unexpectedly ran long. We talked once as he let us know that he would be late, then he called me when he was on his way. His team was professional, courteous, and friendly while showing care when unloading our items from storage containers into our home. When they finished unloading, we were pleasantly surprised to see the team assembling our bedroom furniture instead of just standing around for the rest of the time that we paid them for.

On time, price as quoted, staff was nice to work with as are the movers. Definitely will call again.

Kimble and his team arrived on time and made quick work of our move. I was very impressed with the crew’s professionalism and overall pleasant demeanor. They were very careful with the furniture that they moved across three rooms of my home. They also moved an old 50 in projection TV from a room in my basement without a problem. I would definitely use them again if I need in-​home moving in the future.

Kimble and his team arrived on time. They were very professional and courteous. Nothing was damaged during the move. All costs were explained right in the beginning. I highly recommend them.

I try to reserve my five-​star reviews for truly outstanding experiences. I have used Kimble and his crew at Floors and Chores for two moves, and both experiences have been excellent. They unloaded a POD when I arrived in Atlanta, which I had loaded myself when I returned home from a year away in the land of bourbon and bluegrass. After all the work, fussing, and cursing it took for me to get my POD loaded, I was almost a little annoyed at how quickly and efficiently they unloaded it, and their rate was quite reasonable.
Fast-​forward a year, and the wife and I found ourselves moving a little further OTP for work. I decided against doing any loading myself (hey, I packed. That’s enough work). I used the online site to get a quote request, and heard back promptly. Kim and his guys showed up right at the scheduled time on our move date, and got right to work. I had everything packed, and they loaded their truck up in a very effiecient but safe manner. They took care to shrink-​wrap all my upholstered furniture and to use plenty of padding on anything which could have gotten scratched or otherwise damaged. They loaded the truck quickly, and got the truck unloaded even more quickly. Despite being on an hourly wage, they wasted no time, which I can’t complain about. It was affordable, and well worth saving myself the time and effort.
In addition to being good at their work, Kimble and his crew were pleasant, polite, and fun to have around. I will definitely use them again.

We used Floors and Chores this morning for our move from Roswell to Woodstock and we couldn’t be happier. Kim and Ricardo arrived 10 minutes early, which was a far cry from our last movers who were 3 hours late! They had most of our apartment moved down in 45 minutes. Then they covered and shrink-​wrapped all big/​breakable items, which made us breathe easy. All told, we had them for a total of 4 hours from start to finish and they worked hard the whole time. They were also extremely polite and gracious, not to mention the cheapest quote by far that we received to move a 2 bedroom apartment. It averaged out to less than $ 100/​hr for 2 guys with a huge truck.
We were so happy with them and our move that we will hire them again for any future moves and recommend them to all our friends.

Outstanding! Kimble and his crew arrived on time (to the minute) and began working immediately. No delays, no milking the clock … just good, honest work.
I will be hiring them again for future moves.

Called to get a quote… and no one answered. Filled out a quote request on their website. Waited… and nothing. Called back and left a message… never called back. Finally, after a week of trying, called and actually reached a person. I told him I was moving and would like a quote and he rudely said: «Yeah, I already responded to you and told you no, we can’t do it.»
