Perimeter Place

The people who work here are the worst people I’ve ever had to deal with. DONT EVEN TRY LOOKING AT THIS PLACE! Very rude and what they advertise on their website for prices of apartments are lies. Your better off going and checking other places. Don’t get me started on trying to find a furnished apartment that they advertise too.

Four stars for the Super Target alone! I could live there.
Perimeter Place is located directly across the street from Perimeter Mall and about a half dozen other shopping centers, so it’s got some stiff competition. Perimeter Place is mainly comprised of restaurants — chain restaurants at that — though there’s a good variety of restaurant style — grab and go (Chipotle, Tin Drum, Five Guys etc), sit down/​casual (Taco Mac, Outback, etc), slightly more upscale (Fleming’s), dessert (Coldstone, Ali’s Cookies), and cafes (Robeks, Starbucks — inside the Super Target).
There are a few clothing stores: Ross, the recently opened Fa’brik, and Carter’s — for young children. The other main, non restaurant retailers are Office Max and Drexel Furniture.
There’s always tons of parking available throughout the plaza, the only exception is the Chipotle-Robeks-Shane’s strip. Parking is pretty scarce around lunch time, so arrive early if you mind a bit of walking.
All in all it’s a great place for shopping and dining!

Mimi’s definitely deserves four stars. We love Mimi’s. Have never had a bad meal and we eat there 1−2x a month, either dining in or carry-​out. A good place for my spouse to get liver and onions (if it’s still on menu) which I refuse to cook, and a great place to take a group that you have to feed because there is something for everyone at a reasonable price. Oh, and did I mention that the food is great and serving sizes are more than adequate.

Perimeter Place is nice, because it has the feel of an open-​air mall rather than a cheesy strip mall. I am a sucker for the concept of a mixed-​use development and I hope that it will improve the options for shopping, dining, and fun in Dunwoody. Like Dave G., I am hoping to see more specialty shops and cafes show up here in years to come.
Even though they are chains, I love Boneheads and Tin Drum. The Super Target was a welcome addition. There is also a very nice wine store (called Total Wine, I believe) that holds wine tasting on a regular basis.
If I were still single, I would totally think about living here.

This is an amazing shopping center in an amazing area with unlimited potential. This place will be rockin’ if even 50% of the condos/​apartments scheduled to be built actually are.
I would love to see a little bit more of a homey feel. Big box furniture does not add much here. A few more cafes, bakeries and specialty shoppes would make this a cooler place to live.
This area is going to be the next Buckhead!

Perimeter Place sucks. The people who shop here are all a bunch of asses. Every single one of them makes the place much worse than it would be before they arrived, too. The shops in here are mostly horrible. The Super Target is a nightmare because it causes a majority of the problems for the area. This place holds Mimi’s Café which is one of the worst eating establishments this side of a cow’s ass. And not to mention the huge number of chain stores that flow into this place. Nothing is unique there and nothing makes this stand out from any of your other typical shopping centers, except the asshole people who think they own the town.

If you thought the end came when they opened the Walmart, but weren’t sure, it has for sure ended with the Target.
High rise condos, a surplus of chain restaurants, wide parking lots and tree lined sidewalks. You have ran into a typical American new age suburb that has now lost any character that it once had.

Perimeter Place (if you live there), is probably a great place to be in, since you can do all your shopping needs without going too far. I thought about moving to one of the apartments in there in fact — I decided, since it is a tad bit too far from my job. As a concept, though, I heartily endorsed it.

Perimeter Place is a mix used development with condos, apartments, shopping and dining. Centrally located in the perimeter area in the vicinity of Perimeter Mall, Perimeter Place opened in late 2005. Anchor Perimeter Place stores consist of Super Target, Ross Dress For Less, Loehmann’s, Office Max, Destination Home and Drexel Furniture. Restaurants include Cheeseburgers In Paradise, Taco Mac, Mimi’s Caf, Boneheads, Doc Green’s, Tin Drum, Fleming’s, Chipotle, Mama Fu’s, Caribou Coffee House, Outback Steakhouse, Applebee’s, Panera Bread and several others.
At Perimeter Place you can shop, bank, get your hair and nails done, go to the spa or doctor as well as partake in other services. There is tons of parking and it is surrounded by other shopping and restaurants including Best Buy, Circuit City, P.F. Chang’s, Macaroni Grill, Super Wal-​Mart, DSW, Cost Plus World Market, McCormick & Schmick, Brio, PetSmart, The Container Store, TJ Maxx, etc.
