Tide Dry Cleaners

I’ve had many issues with Tide Dry Cleaners in Dunwoody, GA and management is not addressing them. I complained on numerous occasions and they are still unable to put crease on the sleeves of my shirts. Also, I can get an allergic reaction to starch and they keep using it on certain shirts for no reason. My Tide computer record says No Starch. Terrible experience overall.

Horrible delivery service
OMG — where do I start!!! The concept of a pickup and delivery free service is wonderful but only IF done correctly. What do I mean — allow me to list the problems: I was delivered someone else’s clothes and billed $ 28 for it — on a week I had NO pickup they again billed me $ 58 for someone else’s dry cleaning but this time they dropped off nothing, just randomly billed my Amex — I have been delivered other customers clothes countless times and had to call them to take their garments back from me — they have simply not picked up my clearly visible laundry bags from outside my door no less than 9 times in just a few short months — when I did use the automated machine after hours the computer was showing programming codes so needless to say — I could not get my clothes that night.
The list goes on and on. The staff and managers are pleasant but their promises of «ensuring this never happens again» were meaningless since the lack of pickup service happened over 9 times in just a few short months.
In the end this just isn’t worth the hassle so my advice is find a more reliable dry cleaning service —

This place is great… when the Anytime Pickup actually works. When the machine works it’s a lifesaver. Picking up on my own time is a great feature and one of the reasons that I switched to this drycleaner. However, this is the second time where the machine hasn’t worked at all. I may be looking for another drycleaner after this after all. And it’s a shame because this is a great concept.

Poor dry cleaning service. They did a terrible job on a comforter I brought in. It was as if it wasn’t cleaned at all. It came back with same spots on it-​not even faded. The stuffing wasn’t even smoothed out. It was all left in one corner. Two stars for location.

At first I was very excited about using this Dry Cleaners as I have been to several since I have been to Georgia trying to find one that had reasonable service. After searching online Tide Dry Cleaners whom I had never heard of seemed very promising so made a trip to the one closest to me in Dunwoody.
The store is new and modern, they have great after hours service for both drop off and pick up. One of the best things is that all the staff can communicate at a level you would expect for any customer service position (with the exception of one slight insult where the first lady who setup up my account questioned why I had what she thought was a name that wasn’t appropriate for my gender? albeit she did it rather nicely… i guess…).
First trip, everything was perfect, clothes cleaned fast, good receipts and systems to track what you turned in and cleaned well. Emailed to let me know they were ready. Great, found new cleaner! Not so fast…
Second trip, had to take clothes back, still dirty… leave work drive back to store to get re-​cleaned.
Third trip, had to take clothes back, collars clearly not cleaned… leave work again, back through traffic back to store… again.
Fourth trip, basic alteration done wrong, 5 shirts returned with oil and grease stains in same location (maybe one too many fancy robots dripping oil :-)), and worse, 2 brand new $ 60 dress shirts… never worn, straight from pack to get pressed, burnt… so back to store again to see what they will do about the burnt shirts and grease marks, but my last trip if they don’t make it right and start giving me back clean clothes free of spots and marks.
Can’t afford the gas or time to make two trips to the cleaners every time I drop off a load.
Oh well, good concept, can’t clean.

DON’T DO IT… we loved everything about the business plan (open on sundays, drive through, anytime pick up etc)… TERRIBLE dry cleaning
Half of everything we dropped off was either damaged or not even cleaned (our items didn’t even smell clean /​had small stains that we dropped it off with still on it).
NEVER going back… if you do — absolutely don’t bring any delicates

I went there on their grand opening day and they dry cleaned 2 free items as a promotion. When I went to pick my items, I was greeted by a nice smile and great customer service! I will definitely use them again!
