Surprisingly shiny clean working cheese factory with a do it yourself sample counter and unusually fun gift shop stuff. Open every day. Low key friendly staff lets you sample cheese in plastic containers with your very own tooth pick and answers questions. Wide range of cheeses from spreads to hard Italians including some interesting mixes with shrooms and herbs. I highly recommend the 5 year aged sharp cheddar or the Morel and Leek Jack cheese, put that in the freezer and shred it over ANYthing. And if you like HOT, don’t forget the ghost pepper cheese, smokin! maybe the first cheese that I agree is good AND hot(very likely an MSG bomb also, enzymes is code for MSG). Cheese curds of course in a variety of flavors. Prices were reasonable and get jacked 50% back home at your local stores. Some fine looking hand packed ice cream cones were also going out of there to a few picnic tables out front. If you are traveling in Wisconsin, you have to go to a cheese factory, so get your Wisconsin Visa stamped here, I liked this place. 30 minutes is plenty of time if you need a break. Don’t forget your Wisconsin beer factory(Leinenkugel) and sausage(is Pizza hut cheating?) tours.
