Nice people. Strong coffee – you get to choose from featured, dark roast, organic, decaff – maybe even more. Choice is good. And if you are into tea, they have a massive selection from which to choose. You even get refills. Thank you for making strong, non-wimpy coffee, Durango Coffee Company!

Traveling cross country and taking in the mountain views when I came across this place on Unilocal.I needed good coffee and this place hit the spot. You can watch the views on Main Ave. Coffee was hot and fresh, staff was friendly.

Awesome coffee! I got a cup of black coffee of the day(Rwanda), and it was perfectly brewed. I could taste the fruitiness of it and could tell it was fresh. My wife had a delicious raspberry coconut milk latte. I also saw they have some really good specialty drinks like Mexican mocha and snickers latte. I’d love to try those next time I’m in town.

If you buy the prepackaged beans you are getting gypped. The packages do not weigh as much as they are supposed to. Also ordered a latte, someone needs to teach the ‘barista’ how to steam milk.

This is a great little coffee shop. The staff is friendly. They have lots of options. Try the Mexican Coffee Specialty drink. They also offer non dairy«milk» options, which I appreciate as someone lactose intolerant. Their specialty drink machine was broken one time I went in. They refunded me my drink, gave me a free drink token for the future and offered to make me any other drink I wanted for free on the spot. So, they are all about customer service. I don’t think you can find a better spot in the area for coffee.

Nitro cold brew coffee is what peaked my curiosity to come in. It looks very similar to a Guenniss when poured out of the tap. Very smooth, a little on the strong side for me, but overall very good.

Eh, pretty mediocre. Coffee was eh, ambiance was less than ehh as it’s a store with only a small area for people eating or drinking something. Stopped by here on a roadtrip, and I have to say the wifi was pretty decent. A good place to get some work done as there are always open tables and you don’t have to feel bad about hogging space.

3.2 stars. Nothing more nothing less. The latte had s nice new crème but it was kind of flavorless. And the Mexican mocha was bland. I’ll try another coffee here before I leave to give them a chance. It’s a coffee shop partnered with a store? Kitchen stuff. Has good outdoor seating.

If you like Starbucks, this is your place. If you are familiar with Blue bottle or Counter Culture, this is not your place.

I enjoy sitting here and drinking a hot chocolate on a rainy day. The environment is really nice here and you can watch as the day goes by. This is one of my favorite coffee shops and I plan on returning in the future for a daily drink.

Stopped in here for some coffee, and it was very nice. The store is very cute and has a lot of kitchen items to browse through. I thought the coffee was pretty good. My fiancé really enjoyed his toddy. We are big fans of the cold brewed coffee! I had a hot latte. It was nice, but I thought the milk/cream tasted slightly off. It didn’t bother me too much, but it made me wonder. It is nice that they offer gluten free baked goods, but it would be even better if they had a few that were also dairy free as my fiancé has gluten and dairy issues. Oh well. All and all a very nice place to stop for coffee in downtown Durango!

I visit Durango Coffee Company for one reason — yep, you got it, the coffee! Oh sure, the baked goods and plenty of seating are nice. The staff is friendly and well trained. The various coffeehouse items you can fill your kitchen with are varied and eclectic. And there are plenty of knick-knacks and other items to buy. However, in my opinion, nothing beats a well made latte on a late morning filled with gallery walks and western décor in the mountains. It just wouldn’t be the same. So, if you haven’t tried the alternative to the regular chains, you owe it to yourself to stop by for a cup of mountain java. Cheers!

Best coffee in Duango, hands down. Joes is a little to harsh on the stomach, and Starbucks… is well. Starbucks. Support local and choose DCC!

I am torn about this place because I ordered two lattes, one was very good and the other was gross. The plain latte was everything a latte should be, but my latte with coconut syrup was watery and tasteless. The baristas are friendly though, I will give it another try if I am in town again.

We were staying the night in Durango, love this little town and all the shops. We were here during Christmas time and it had a great Christmas feel to it. Really cute store with a lot of different things to buy. I bought up the store, Christmas gifts for everyone! i found really unique kitchen items, coffee drinks, and pastries. So happy with so many gluten free pastry choices! I appreciate gluten free options. Great Almond Joy Latte with lactose free milk, soy. Thank you! We will be back to your darling store.

I have lived in Durango for 20 years and have had bad past experiences at Durango Coffee Company with the pretentious feel but I like to give places a second chance and it was a cold night and was craving some good chai but unfortunately what I received was horrible service and rude cashiers. Both of their appearances were sloppy & their demeanor was unwelcoming. I was cut off before I was finished with my drink order and she wasnt very personable at all. The chai was terrible & I was treated like I wasn’t good enough to drink there. I was going to buy a new chef knife but would rather spend my money elsewhere if I am going to be treated like a third rate customer. I will NEVER go back again & will make sure I tell everyone I know about my horrible experience & direct every tourist that asks elsewhere.

We stopped there as we were passing through very early one extremely cold morning. Needed coffee! It was a very cute and friendly place. Coffee was good. But, the café au lait was just fabulous. Different from a latte in a good way. Next time we are back — this will be a definite go-to!

Asked for the biggest americano they had. Holy cow whatever size is bigger than a venti that was it! It was as big as my 750ml water bottle! I asked for a splash of skim and a packet of stevia and it was perfection. Damnit. I want one back home!
