Great salad bar. very fresh. The food was unexpectedly good. A lot of big TV’s. We had pasta and a steak sandwich and both were excellent. Breakfast was also good the next day.

Staying at the Holiday Inn, and have an early day tomorrow, so I came here out of convenience. First, there was no one at the front counter. I wandered in and after you get closer someone way in the back motions that it’s open seating. What they should say is, be careful where you sit because some sections get faster/better service than others. The bar itself seemed a bit packed, so I sat at the tables just behind them. 5 minutes pass and a man who kind of seems like the bartender(he doesn’t stay behind the bar) comes over, is quite friendly, says my server will be with me but he’ll start me with a drink. I get my drink quickly enough and 5 more minutes pass, so I ask another server if I can have a menu(you know, in case they didn’t know I wanted to eat). She seems a bit annoyed that I asked, as she was on her way to serving folks in her section, but I’ve clearly been here for 10 minutes. I see who is supposed to be my server pass by a time or two without acknowledgement as she is serving her guests at the bar(I think she’s been in the kitchen this whole time). After a solid 20 minutes of sitting here, she finally says she’ll be right with me. I debated taking it to go, or maybe skipping dinner altogether, but I have a 14 hour day ahead of me. This beer is not calming me down. I’m livid — is it because I’m not a man? Do I look like a child? Because last I checked I was a paying customer just trying to get a meal. Thanks for nothing!

I have stayed at this hotel 135 times past year, the hotel is amazing bit the restaurant is quickly going downhill. They got rid of their best bartender and the quality of food is terrible. Time to find another place to stay unfortunately but the restaurant is killing the hotel experience and the new chef doesn’t seem to have a clue. It was good whole it lasted but this will be my last week staying here.

There is so much potential here that it’s a drag that this place is so bad. I am a local and come here from time to time if I want some elbow room. I once came here on the first day of March Madness and they had no basketball games on. I asked if they could put on the games and they asked me «what games?». This is supposed to be a sports bar. They serve food and beer so you can get that here but don’t plan on being impresesed. Two stars is being generous. The fact that anyone could rate this place higher than three stars is mind blowing.

I stayed at the HI in the same building. After having dinner in town decided to have a beer here before calling it a night. The bartender was friendly, professional, prompt. Didn’t order food but she had a full bar and they were all eating. So food had to be alright. Plenty of TV’S.

We thought this place was great. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. We are here twice during our stay at the Holiday Inn. We ordered room service for dinner. I got shrimp cocktail and penne primavera. Both were very good. My husband got a burger and fries. Also very good and the service was fast, even for room service(30 minutes for delivery). We had a great breakfast the next morning. Service was also very good then. I would eat here again.

I stay at the Holiday Inn here a lot! This restaurant is horrible! Unless you are sitting at the bar drinking, forget service! The other night I had a ribeye… more like shoe leather that didn’t even come close to resembling a ribeye, the onions on my salad were old and nasty and the fries were almost burnt. If you want to pay $ 50 for a meal, PLEASE go into town, where it’s worth it.

Sad to say but two stars is pretty accurate. My family and I met up with some friends for lunch here and we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Our waitress was relatively attentive in the beginning, but after the food came out she went over to watch TV with another employee which was a bit weird… We ordered the wings and zucchini to start which were both fried so that probably wasn’t the healthiest route to take. The wings were quite good though, and they served the sauce on the side which was an excellent idea because each person could decide how much they wanted. I wasn’t a fan of the zucchini because it was mostly breading. Our friends ordered salads which looked like the way to go. My mom ordered the burger with bacon but they forgot the bacon, and I ordered the fried shrimp which were tiny and not very tasty. I also requested garlic fries but I received normal fries so that was annoying. In the end I wasn’t impressed and probably won’t come back any time soon.

We went for a late dinner after traveling all day. Veggie pizza was great. Kathy was very caring waitress and made sure we were pleased. We would return. Was exactly what we needed to end our day!

Was hesitant based on previous reviews. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and had my drink order taken. Bloody Mary was excellent. Food came out quick and was good. During the entire meal the bar tender was very attentive and service was excellent.

If I could give it no stars I would. Terrible everything. From hostess, wait there wasn’t one after 5 minutes we just sat ourselves, to wait staff, oops plural just one waitress(poor girl) trying to serve the whole restaurant, to my hard boiled, yes solid yolk eggs Benedict. I will NEVER eat here again, like EVER.

I give it 2 stars because my chicken sandwich was actually decent. Although my dates philly cheese steak sandwich wasn’t. Our host(not waitress) came to our table and tossed our menus down. At no point did they bring silverware to me. I had to go to the bar 3 separate times to refill my water. To top everything off my waitress forgot to give me back my debit card I had to ask for it. Horrible service. They weren’t busy at all and it took so long to get our food. Pitiful.

The only reason I gave this place 1 star is that there’s not a 0 star option. The food was the worst!!! Service was atrocious! Just to get a seat took 15 minutes… And the restaurant was slow. Seriously, there was hardly anyone, but it took that long. Then, The waitress just complained and complained then spent the rest of the time fighting with the manager in the kitchen, audibly. The«food» was terrible. Seriously, it was glorified prison food. Never seen food look so bland and taste worse. This place makes the hotel look bad. Don’t eat here. Please, don’t support terrible food choices
Ate there b/c we stayed in the Holiday Inn. Burned all three breakfast dishes — how hard is it to cook scrambled eggs? For some dopey reason we tried it again later for apps before bed — worst spinach and artichoke dip ever! It was like warmed-up wallpaper paste with gigantic chunks of artichoke — as if they dumped it out of a can into a pale green sludge. Damned awful!

Horrible. Went for a beer after arriving in durango and checking in to the hotel. The server was totally unaware of what beer they had available, was annoyed that we weren’t ordering food and vanished for a half hour before coming back and bringing our bill. Holiday Inn should raze this place and replace it with something that isn’t awful.

This place is in the Holiday inn. We arrived late but were told by the front desk that food would be served until 10 and drinks until 11. We hurried to the restaurant to get some food as we had not had dinner yet due to a long day on the road. 10 minutes to ten we were told no. They had already started closing down. Apparently the kitchen was done already. In fact they were vacuuming, sweeping and mopping all around our bar stools as we were sitting there trying to enjoy a cocktail and some chips purchased at the front desk. The bartender asked us if we wanted another round and when we told her we wanted to settle up she said«I hope my cleaning isn’t running you out.» «I just need to get my cleaning done.» we then left and went to walk our dog for the evening only to see through the window the employees sitting at the bar waiting for 11pm to come. Maybe they should offer better service and wait to clean until they are closed or change their hours of opperation. All said the hotel side of things was great with nice friendly service at the front desk. Nice hotel but no wonder poor reviews of the restaurant.

The food was incredibly bland. I wouldn’t feed the chicken strips to my dog. The Servive was OK, but the overall experience was lacking.
