Whenever I come here I plan on knowing I’ll be in there for quite some time. There is so much to look at, it’s hard to make it a quick trip. From sheets to towels, pillows, bath items, small appliances and more, I’m grateful for the coupons that come in the mail that help me save a little here. One of my favorite spots in the store is the kitchen gadget section. There is so many unusual things I’d not seen before and some I’m not even sure what to use for, but I still want them all! It makes for very full drawers in the kitchen at home! The employees are helpful, but are usually hard to find except at the registers. I think it’s a sign of the times of cutting back on employees and getting what few you do have to cover too many bases. It doesn’t deter from them being friendly and nice though.

Hmmm… typically I find that Bed Bath & Beyond is an enjoyable experience. This was not quite what I would classify as enjoyable. My husband and I had a $ 100.00 gift card from our recent wedding shower. I also had $ 25.00 from another gift, so we figured we would stop in to purchase curtain hardware. We browsed around and found what we liked. Unfortunately, the size we were looking for was not there. We waited around for the guy who was working in the curtain department to finally help us(he was helping another couple, and apparently was the only person nearby working) and told him what we needed. He said, «was the size you needed not on the hook?» OHJUST kidding! We just wanted you to come over so we could punk you. NO it’s not on the hook, obviously! Then he proceeded to look through ALL of the hooks(this is a pet peeve of mine… why don’t you trust us that we looked high and low and asking you was a last resort?) only to confirm that the size was indeed not there. He went to check in the back and brought us the size we needed. Then, we went to check out. I presented a 20% off coupon as well as the two gift cards. After the discount and use of the cards, it should’ve been about $ 12.00 that we owed. The cashier(his name stated with a B…) told us we owed $ 100. I told him what the amount was on the gift cards and he said that the $ 25 came off, but the other gift card only took $ 32 off and that we owed $ 100. He finally called his manager who proceeded to contact the number on the back of the card to determine the balance. He said there was $ 100 on the card. No. Kidding. All in all, we waited about 10 minutes at the register while the cashier tried to figure it out without using common sense. We paid our $ 12 and decided we will not return to this location. Oh — while we were waiting in line, another cashier was sitting on a stool yawning, and at one point said«I am SO done»…sorry that customers are inconveniencing you at your job…

Came in with MANY needs to outfit a college house … All the employees were so helpful — even as far as taking a rather large display unit down(since it was the LAST in stock!) from a super-high display area Will return in future for sure! Target DOESNTEVENTOUCH the customer service here!

The staff here is awesome(as it is at most BBB’s). They all seem to be knowledgable about their departments and others. Customer service is top notch and the managers are extremely helpful and quick to get to the front if they are needed. The line usually moves very fast if there is one. I would routinely drive the extra 15 minutes to go to this location instead of the one closer to my home.

The five star rating is for CUSTOMERSERVICE. Went out today for last minute Christmas gifts, fully expecting a shopping nightmare, but the staff was present and exceptionally helpful. It seemed sales associates were stationed in specific areas throughout the store, proactively asking if we needed help even before we realized we did. The check out lines at one point were quite long, but always moved quickly so that when we were ready to pay for our items, there was only one person in front of us. The cashier was cheerful. The overall experience was surprisingly pleasant.

I’ve never been inside a BB&B and not purchased anything. There is always a first for everything. I found that this BB&B did not have the stock nor inventory that most others have. I went with a list of about 5 – 6 items and didn’t find one of them. There was one item I saw, not on the list, and decided to use my handy app and found that it was much more inexpensive at Target so I ventured there.(Even with a 20% off coupon and that is usually difficult to do). I guess location is everything and this location is definitely not everything.

I’ve gone here several times and the staff has always been excellent. The line was only a few people long, and an employee(John) came over and opened up another line and apologized for the delay. He was very concerned with customer service, and it was greatly appreciated. The staff has also been great with returns and coupons in my experience.

This is the BBB to go to in Durham. Forget about the one on N. Pointe Drive that’s full of surly people. At New Hope Commons I was greeted and helped from the moment I stepped in the store and found what I needed. They really do have the best collections of household goods to be found. Don’t forget that if you use one of those $ 5 coupons on $ 16 worth of merchandise you’re getting a 30% discount and their no-fuss return policy is excellent.

With the 20%-off ‘Bed, Bath and Beyond’ coupons that we receive regularly in the mail, we are usually able to score some superb deals here for household goods. The following list is just a sample of what we have purchased at BB&B: an ice cream maker, a snowcone ice shaver, popsicle molds, sink drain catchers, serving dishes, food storage containers, shelf liners, garbage cans for the kitchen and bathrooms, a frog-shaped humidifier, curtains, and curtain rods. Staff members are friendly and merchandise is very high quality, but the real draw for us are the great deals obtained with the use of coupons. Luckily, the coupons are always accepted at this location regardless of expiration date. This definitely came in handy when we first moved into our new house and needed a plethora of miscellaneous items. Great place to purchase doodads for your home. Oh, and did I mention that the coupons are fantastic?

In a fit of personal inspiration and rebellion against sweet tea, I decided to buy a pitcher and make some real iced tea. This one is pretty much the same as any other BB&B across the country so they had what I was looking for as well as a number of other bizarre containers that I might decide later that I want to put iced tea into.
