I was recently in the market for some new equipment to teach defensive tactics classes with. I went to several area store fronts as well as researching online costs; and found cage side to be more than reasonable for all the equipment.
When I went in initially to price check the gear, I found the staff to be helpful and knowledgable, but they didn’t nag me. They were really good about comparing and contrasting items like focus mitts of different materials or floor mats. They know their stock well and can actually answer questions, which in the age of big box stores is a welcome surprise
I have returned several times and they are consistently good to me, and help me find whatever I need.
Good to see real customer service again.

Cageside has the best prices and best service around. I’m a repeat customer and have bought tons of stuff from Cageside — four gis, multiple rashguards, fight shorts, shirts, a gear bag and some other stuff I’m probably forgetting.
All of the products have been quality, and every time the Cageside guys have been super-​helpful with getting me what I need. They all train, which I think helps: they can answer your questions intelligently and help steer you in the right direction. I’ve been a happy customer for years. It’s my first stop for BJJ and MMA products, and it should be yours too.
And, now that I think about it, I need a new rashie …

I ordered 2 pairs of sparring mma shorts, very simple order. They had sent me the wrong size so I was going to send them back for the correct order. After speaking with them on the phone, I didn’t get an offer from them to ship the shorts back to them at their cost so I just asked for a refund. The shipping for the shorts costed me approximately $ 12. I will go with a more reputable company such as MMA warehouse next time.
