Chili’s

Wow! First the host (he) was pleasant. From their it crashed and burned our waiter was not good at all. I’m not sure if she had to many table or what, she did a lot of going back and forth. She took our order, we ask to change our drinks cause myself nor my husband liked our beverages. I want to say starters came out after we were done with them 15 min or so, still no drink. I saw another waiter he said I will let her know, she came out at his time and said our food will be up soon. Another 15 – 20 minnow we have food brought out by another waiter. I said «I’m sorry I don’t want this if we cannot have anything to drink», the other waiter said let me get her for you I said tell her to bring our drinks please. Finally she brings them, my husband is a fast drinker and he needed a refill never got one. I was really shocked overall with the experience of this Chili’s.

Food was great. Service was great. The Santa Fe Salad was really spicey so I had our server bring extra ranch dressing to cool it off a little. Then he comes over at the end and said he comped me the salad since I thought it was so spicey! So nice of him.

Watch your receipt on takeout. Second time they have written in their own tip. Seems like criminal behavior to me, but I wonder how many times others just let a couple of dollars just slip by.

It’s good at what it does. Came here a couple times before (always with parents… my parents seem to love this place), the last time being for dinner the past Monday. Service was very nice and helpful — which was what pushed it up a star for me.
Food is a solid three-​stars. My mom didn’t really like the taste of her beef enchilada, but the whole table really liked my Santa Fe chicken quesadillas (seriously — they’re pretty good for chain food.) Quantity was pretty big — my dad and uncle split a steak and shrimp fajita but still had leftovers to go. Overall a pretty alright experience.

After the last review, I sent an email to the company about my experience. Josh (MP) actually followed up with me via email and phone call. Even though the original experience was not great, I appreciate the follow-​up, concern and complimentary meal. I may not eat-​in again but I will carryout.

POOR POOR SERVICE, went 2day just 2 be AGAIN treated like I wasn’t needed there sat at the bar just because I was alone and just wanted a meal, the bartender treated me like I was disturbing her even do I wasn’t really asking 4 much 2 other ppl went and got greeted with great service I wasn’t even greeted, I work 4 tips so always leave a food one she was so bad I sadly left 2 dollars but should have left NOTHING!!! she has worked there 4 a while and every time I go it’s worst! I dnt think you should have staff like that! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THAT PLACE, the managers were in and not asked if I was happy with service even do I was clearly unhappy!!!

Ate here for lunch. There was a pretty big crowd but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. Food was fresh and good.

Went here for dinner on a Sunday. Several people were before us so we were told the wait would be 35 minutes. I noticed several empty tables, mostly on the bar side, but nobody was able to sit at them. Happily, it did not take too long to be seated because another person came out and got things moving (manager?). The service itself was mediocre but we didn’t have to wait too long. I did (unintentionally) overhear a manager tell the table behind us how there was a problem with their food (some part of it was burnt) and he went over and beyond to try to make them happy. So much so that he actually neglected other customers. Several employees went up to this particular table to repeatedly make sure things were ok, but the same or similar service was not afforded to almost every other person in the place (to be honest, I did see the manager stop by one other table briefly on his way away from checking (again) on the table with the food issue). anyway, like I said, the food was decent; however, the service could have been much better, both by our waitress and the staff in general. It shouldn’t take a mistake before a table gets some attention.

DO NOT EAT HERE. YOU MIGHT GET E. COLI FOOD POISONING.
We ate there yesterday with a large group of people. The folks that got sick ate the following entrees:
1. Mango Chile Tilapia with mashed potatoes and pepper gravy
2. Southwestern Mac n cheese
3. Parmesan crusted steak
4. Chicken fajita
They had to go to the doctor today to get checked out and get antibiotics.
We are never going to Chilis again, at any location.
I can’t give this place –5 stars, so the minimum I’m allowed to give is 1 star. It should get a big fat «F»!

Ate here for Lunch on a Saturday around 12:30pm and it was surprisingly not crowded! Parking at this particular location is terrible, but again we got lucky with front row parking at the door!
The staff was very attentive and our strawberry lemonade never got close to be being empty before we had a new one at the table! The Manager came around several times and even brought our to-​go boxes. The staff worked very well together which in my opinion made for a great experience for us!
If you go to Chili’s you have have have to get the strawberry lemonade!!!

We ordered the $ 20 dinner for two offer, and the texas cheese fries was a great appetizer! The Cajun chicken pasta was greasy but good. The other dish was one of their new items but turned out pretty bland. Great service as always. The margaritas are a must try!

Exactly what you expect for a Chili’s. No more, no less. No 2-​for-​1 weeknight happy hour due to North Carolina law though.

Its Chili’s, and that is really all there is to say about that. It is a good family restaurant in a pinch as my kids can easily find something to eat here as there sophisticated palates have not fully developed yet.
The service while friendly was a little on the slow side.
Bottom line is, if you’re looking for a place to take a large group who has options for many different people, this chain should be a contender. But don’t expect to have your minds blown.

I agree with Eric H,– service here was really good and pushed it to 4-​stars for me. Not only attentive, but waiter literally chased us down the parking lot when my son left his phone in the store.
Positives:
+ Many quite reasonably priced options, and opportunities for discount (e.g., free chips if check in with Foursquare)
+ Mushroom-​Swiss burger was large, fresh, very tasty, and filling
+ Tasty (& spicy) corn-​guacamole appetizer, as well as spinach dip
+ Very friendly service, and very attentive
+ Clean, both in dining area & restroom
+ Decent variety in kids’ menu
Negatives:
— Chicken of buffalo wings appetizer was tough and tasteless
— Chips greasy as well as so thin & fragile that hard to eat the guacamole
Synopsis:
It’s pretty good chain food overall. Some dishes are great, some not-​so-​much. Strong service and decent price makes the place worth it.

I add a star for the waiter.
I start these chain restaurants at a solid three stars since they are expected to be the same anywhere you go. So an extra star is a big deal for me and I give it squarely to the waiter. The waiter was very attentive and refilled drinks before being asked. Sometimes even bringing a fresh drink before the first one ran out, never again having to ask what it was we were drinking.
All in all I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a Chili’s with an above average service experience.
