Dr. Tope has been my dentist for my entire life. He is warm, welcoming, and as a child I had no fear visiting his office. With that being said I feel like much has changed in the last 5 years and I am currently seeking a new dentist. Dr. Tope is often out of town(literally, a couple of days each week) and scheduling an appointment can be tricky. If you have an emergency while he is gone then his office manager will contact one of his colleagues to help you. Personally in a stressful situation I prefer going to a doctor’s office I am familiar with and seeing a doctor I already know. The hygienists have also changed a lot in the last few years. If you have a very flexible schedule and generally no dental issues Dr. Tope is a great dentist… if not I would recommend finding someone who is more readily available.

What is it with none of my doctors having reviews on Unilocal?I feel like I’m in a secret society of doctors. Well, I can keep this secret no more!!! Dr. Tope is like those dentists/doctors that you see on TV but you really think don’t exist in real life. it was almost as if he(dare I say it) likes his job and likes people. I’ve never been afraid of the dentist, but he was so calming and reassuring that I would probably trust him to do an unmedicated root canal. He takes his time to explain everything, he had that 80s sitcom dad kinda vibe. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever had and if I hadn’t moved out of state, I’d still be a patient there. Three fillings there, several cleanings and a few referrals and I never experienced the slightest pain.
