Competent, easy attitude and knowledgeable about the instrument. At one point he identified the piano type and explained its history. Finished in 1 hour and now we’re back up and running with exceptional quality. Will use again.

Danny is a piano tuner and technician that serves the Triangle area. My friend hired him to come tune my ancient spinet as a birthday gift for me this year. He arrived as scheduled and got started right away. He’d estimated 1 to 2 hours, depending on the condition of the instrument. Since mine has been moved –er– 3 times in my ownership, yet been tuned zero times, and given its aforementioned ancientness, it wound up close to 2. (Though he did say he’s tackled way worse, in my piano’s defense!)
Anyhow, it sounds like a completely different instrument (well, not a tuba or a violin — but really, a whole new piano!). And he did it at the completely low cost of $ 75. Danny’s been tuning for years and averages about 3 a day. He’s totally friendly and has a great ear and good patience (and also looks oddly identical to the piano tuner I had as a kid). I will be using him again, and I highly recommend him!
