Dunkin Donuts

On Thursday night, Jan. 21^st, I stopped by this Dunkin Donuts location for donuts. They only had the icky-​red glazed and a couple of other heavy glazed varieties available. Now mind you, across the street, the HOT light is on at another well known donut location and there was a line of cars around the building and the parking lot full. But I do not prefer their donuts due to the heavy glaze and was so excited to finally find out Dunkin was coming to the northwest side of Durham. At the Dunkin location, there was two cars in the parking lot.
The issue, I have had the past three times I have been there, they NEVER have the Bavarian Crème donuts or plain glazed. How can management keep the doors open if they do not have the food items their customers most desire? I have heard the same complaint from others in the area as well. This business will not last if management doesn’t step up. Also the outside of the place is so dark and uninviting. If there are left overs at the end of the day, take them to the homeless shelter in our area, so those without could benefit and corporate could then write off the donations.

The coffee and food were decent, but the service was painfully slow. I am not sure if this is because it is a new store. We ordered in the drive through, and there were not many people. They told us to pull up and wait while they made our food. They said they would bring the good out to the car. After twenty five minutes we still had not received our food. I finally went in. Not only was the order wrong, the order had been sitting with the person on the register at the drive through window. This is most likely a new team at a new store, but management and communication between employees needs to improve.

Great service — the staff were very friendly and attentive. My coffee roll was fresh and my drink was prepared as specified.
The interior is more spacious than average (in my experience) and there is a nice lounge area and conference room.
