Just went in for a new battery and there was no long line of customers, I received quick and efficient service. They did set the correct date and time! Had read other reviews of this store and was greatly surprised. The only problem is this store, which had a great selection of watches, is in Durham, NC and I live in Greensboro, NC. A 100 mile round trip! But worth it.

So I’m a pretty big fan of Fossil watches. I’ve been wearing them for years. They are durable, will run forever, and have a good price point. I went into this fossil store a few weeks before my birthday and I couldn’t decide on anything. I wanted 3 different watches and needed to narrow down to 1. I finally did and decided to just buy it from the website vs. having to go back into the store. I didn’t really think this through because I bought a link watch and I always need 2 links or so taken out. So I ended up back at the store. The lady that helped me was really nice. I just handed her the watch and said that I ordered it online and needed links removed. She put it on me, checked the length, removed the links and handed it back to me with no problems. I had the receipt with me just in case, but I was never asked for it. She was also nice enough to show me another watch that caught my eye while I was there. The only reason I removed a star was because she didn’t set the time and date. Most of the time when you take your watch somewhere for something they always check and adjust this. It’s not a big deal, not even worth the removal of an entire star, but that’s my only option. I would go back to this Fossil store in the future. The staff that I dealt with were great and they had a bunch of really cute leather handbags.

Talk about poor customer service. I was excited when shopping one afternoon to find the Fossil store in Southpoint — one place to look at all the beautiful Fossil products! I walked in and was greeted by an associate who asked if I needed any assistance. I replied I had just wandered in and asked if they were having any specials. The associate sneered at me and said«no» before turning around and walking away. I was very offended. I told some of my friends about this experience and was met with agreement; I have yet to find a satisfied customer. They have refused to replace batteries in current styles recently purchased. Refused to accept returns purchased from their location within the return time frame. Refused to assist in replacement of a faulty product(also within the return time frame). I believe that this Fossil store needs a stern talking to from their corporate office. Fossil makes great products that I would love to buy — just never from any of their employees at this location.

I have loved Fossil watches since I got my first one nearly 20 years ago, so I was pleased when SouthPoint opened and brought us a local Fossil store. I’ve always had excellent customer service there, and today’s visit iced the cake. It took maybe two minutes for the kind person working to replace the battery in my 11 year old watch my partner gave me on our first anniversary… and he did it on the house! Now I’m sure they can’t do that all the time, but it sure impressed me today… and made me even more loyal.
