LabourLove Gallery

Hooray! LabourLove went collective!!! I was so excited for the new artwork last 3^rd Friday. I really enjoy this space, especially since it is walking distance from my house! The gallery now displays local and community art work which is just so wonderful. The pieces are are all different and extremely beautiful. You should go check it out as the pieces are constantly rotating! My neighbor’s photography is currently displayed so go now and enjoy!

This gallery is owned and operated by a cute little family in the beautiful GoldenBelt Studios, and it is an awesome space. I was there this weekend for an event and was blown away – beautiful lighting, lovely exposed brick, concrete floors, warm and friendly atmosphere. I love the «Press Station» in the corner, where you can pick out a print and have it pressed onto a t-​shirt. As Oliver C. mentioned, you can even buy a less-​expensive print of something you like. Unfortunately, or fortunately for me, there were about 4 prints I wanted which still added up to be too much. But I’m going back on Friday for their 1-​Year Anniversary Event (my husband will be providing some tunes), and I definitely plan on supporting this gallery and the local art scene.
