Main Street Barbers

The barber cutting my hair was very slow. He continuously walked away from me to change the music playing from his phone. I felt as though he didn’t take pride in his work. It seemed sloppy and I was disappointed in the end result. I don’t think id go back again. There are better places near by in my opinion.

They have a great waiting room. It’s like a man-​cave setup with big leather couches and bassy hip-​hop playing.
The guy cutting hair was very slow and I had to wait a long time. «A little off the top» meant INCHES to him and he had me in the chair turned away from the mirror so by the time I realized he was giving me the short bro-​cut it was too late. However, the cut I got was very clean looking, especially the neck line, so if that’s what you want he’ll do a good job.
The shop wasn’t clean though. There was a lot of hair on the steps on the way in, scattered all over the floor throughout the shop and he didn’t even wipe the hair from the previous customer off the chair before I sat down so I wiped it off myself.
Lastly, it was $ 15 and I gave him a $ 20 bill and asked for $ 2 back, (20% tip) but he pulled out a wad of only 20s from his pocket and couldn’t make change. When I used a card instead, he ran it as $ 16 with no tip line. Huh?
Overall it wasn’t an unpleasant experience but the place was lacking any polish.
