I’m reviewing about service in the evening in drive thru. Had to state my order twice as they apparently didn’t want to listen the first time after they asked if they could help me. Neither employee said a word. The first window the guy just grabbed my credit card, the second one didn’t even say thank you. Perhaps they are deaf? If so, kudos to McD’s for hiring them. Completely different experience than during the day. French fries were freezing cold and extremely salty, chicken sandwich luke warm. Should have gone to Wendy’s or Arby’s.

Frequent McDonald’s and junk eating got me very familiar with the fast food restaurants near my work, and also made my waist line expand. So for the last 6 months I was on a health food kick and avoided fast food. Until this morning. Had a VERY bad morning and decided I’d eat my feelings away with breakfast at McDonald’s. Ordered two Sausage McMuffins and a hashbrown. Had to pull up and wait for the hashbrown. A pet peeve of mine, and something this McDonald’s seems to do on the regular. Get my food, open the bag to ensure there’s two sandwiches and a hashbrown, get to work, open my bag, and… I got 2 Sausage Biscuits. I hate Mcdonald’s Sausage Biscuits. And to top it off, these ones were burned. The funny thing is that before going to McDonald’s I had an internal conversation with myself. «Should I just got Bojangles next door?» «But I really don’t want biscuits. I want sausage McMuffins». «But they always get things wrong at this McDonalds». «It’s okay, just make sure you’re super clear with your order and check the bag before you pull away». As you can see, I almost talked myself out of going there because they always mess up. This morning was no exception. Next time I get a hankering for quick food, I’ll visit Bojangles or Arby’s next door.

Saturday morning, I needed fast food on the way. This location has been declining for some time, but every McDonald’s has. Saturday was the end. After dragging ass on the drive thru line, the person taking the money at window 1, short changed me $ 5 on a $ 4 tab. Then, she glared at me like it was my fault she couldn’t get a better job. At window 2, my bag of food was apparently disassembled while sorting out the mess. After correcting the money and on the road, I discovered an egg McMuffin that I would not eat. It was unlike anything have ever seen. Burnt muffin, a badly over cooked egg, and a smear of «butter» that just didn’t look right. Seven hours later, I took it back to the on duty manager. He refunded the money, offered me a free meal and apologized. I didn’t want or need McDonald’s at that point. I needed it at 8 am. I don’t need it anymore.

What happened to this place over the last 1 – 2 years? I used to go to his McDonald’s a few times a week as it is along the drive to work. The staff used to be very responsive, deliver the order in a timely way, and smile. Now, there can be two cars in the drive-thru, or twenty and it will take a long time to get in and out. This morning I ordered just a Breakfast Burrito, an Egg White Delite, and a small coffee(2 sugars). After a long pause the guy asked me to repeat the order which I did. He finally got the food part right but still wanted to put a large coffee in the order. I corrected that, and drove to the window to pay, handing him my card. After he ran the card he literally kept his right hand working on the register, head down looking at his screen, and held his left hand out(with my receipt and card) in my general direction so I could grope to grab it hoping I could reach it. Service is usually slow, and it’s unlikely it will be with a smile. Avoid, avoid, avoid this place. Then maybe it can go out of business like it apparently wants to.

Ordered a grilled chicken BLT, fries and DC. Drove off, got back to hotel and opened my bag. My order was correct. Opened the sandwich and no bottom To the sandwich. Hey McD, do you have an extra bun bottom this morning? Check your order.

This used to be a really well run McDonald’s, but not so much anymore. Barely any customers in the place and at least 10 people working behind the counter & kitchen, yet it took forever to get our food. Got a sausage burrito and it was the smallest one I’ve ever seen! We won’t return!

Food was as expected recently, but customer service was plain awful. Rude, no greetings or thank yous. McDonalds SOP right out the window. This has happened more than once, but feel it is time to rate. Always seems to happen in the late hours. Submitting to McDonalds also seems to be futile these days. Corp. never follows up on reports anymore.

Now most people would ask«Why even rate McDonald’s». My answer is because while you may not agree on the fare or the business model I have seen some great McDonalds franchises. Run by involved owners and happy staff. This my friends is not one of them. The service here is painfully slow. Pair this with the inability or to deliver hot, crisp french fries makes this McDonald’s worth passing up. If you are in the area it would be in your best interest to travel a little further down the road to Burger King. They’ve got great service and have made a concerned effort to deliver food that actually looks as good as the images presented on their menu.

I do not know how I was named the Duke of this place, and I am not sure its a good title to have at a fast food joint. lol However, I have to give credit, where credit is due. I stop in to this place every so now and then and grab breakfast when I am running behind. You really can’t go wrong with McDonalds. From their bacon egg and cheese, to their hot cakes, and their hash browns, my fat boy salivation mechanism are on overdrive. If you need a good morning start, check this place out. The service is «McDonalds like», and the food fits the franchise. All I can say to this is, stay skinny my friends! lol

Have bought breakfast, lunch and dinner here over past 4 years and they are always polite and fast! Remodeled several years ago to add a McCafe which they then ripped out. Added multiple big screen tvs, friendly, efficent.
