Mercury Studio is an incredible space to work. As a coworking space, you rent a desk which then can function as your office away from home. If coffee shops are too bustley, and your home is too distracting or isolating, or perhaps you’re in between jobs but need a structured place to work, then this may be your jackpot.
Once you begin your time there, you have access to the kitchen and living area.
It’s a great spot located close to several coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. So, whenever you decide to emerge from your work mode, you’ll have plenty of things to do to celebrate your productivity!

Not only is this a great place to work, I can also feel good about investing in a place that in turn invests in local businesses, artists, students, entrepreneurs and more. Mercury Studio is truly dedicated to the Durham community, and it’s that vision combined with the practicality of its services that I love. Without a permanent office space, I got tired of working in coffee shops but was unable to get work done at home, so Mercury Studio was the perfect solution: a workspace that’s flexible to my needs and hours, where I can meet other people who care about and work in Durham, and where I’m surrounded by local art being made and displayed – oh, and where there’s always coffee.
