Staff was nice. I only found this place because of groupon. The lady told me in fine print doesn’t cover mystic tan. So I just bought one since I was there. $ 40 for the old school booth ridiculous! I normally go to suntan city they are cheaper with easy nicer booths, that made me darker and less streaked bc for one they allow different poses and dry you off a few times before exiting the booth… I can see paying $ 20 on groupon for 3 of the old school experience but not $ 40. I’m feeling ripped off!

******UPDATEATBOTTOM********* So in order to cancel you have to pay two months of service. 120 $ to cancel! I was not informed of this when signing up. And the spa products did not work for me. READYOURCONTRACTFULLYBEFORESIGNINGUP! TRUSTBUTVERIFY! The slim it body wrap is useless. In order to utilize it you must buy a sauna suit and lotion/oil products for it to work. When I first signed up the wrap was broken and would heat to an ungodly temperature only on one end. When they finally replaced it, the wrap barely gets hot and no longer has an opening for your arms to get out. You basically sit there for an hour trying not to fall asleep and sweat. Maybe it will work for you but it did nothing for me. I went to go cancel my contract today. I am a single mother and moving. So I can neither afford or drive an appropriate distance to this tanning salon. They told me I either had to pay 5 $ a month for three months and then pay the 60 $ a month after that or cancel completely by paying 120 $. She made sure to assure me that I could still use the salon for the remaining months. But how can I use them if I live no where near the salon!!! And this was so conveniently NOT mentioned when signing the contract. She also so «nicely» stated that if I did not pay my «dues» that they would send collections after me. I very politely and with tears in my eyes, asked for the owner. She refused to give me any information. I signed the form for the 5 $ only because i cannot afford any other option. So, upset and not knowing what to do, I took to the website to get a hold of corporate. You call the phone number and it sends you right back to the website. Then you have to submit an online customer service ticket. I have done so and will update this when I actually get a response. Until then I am hundreds of dollars in the hole for crappy service and products. I am stuck with the only consolation being that I can write a review and a warning. ****************UPDATE***************** Even though corporate never contacted me, after writing some reviews, the owner personally called. He was very polite and informative and took care of my issue with no problems. I still would not go back because the products did not work for me. Just please make sure to read your contract instead of trusting someone to «summarize» your contract for you!

My daughter needed«light treatment» for a skin condition. This place has been fantastic. SUPER friendly helpful staff. VERY clean place with nice tan beds and also an oxygen rest area if you need revival for a bad headache. The oxygen bar saved me from my migraine! I was very happy to find this place and surprised it was much nicer than expected. They also do teeth whitening.

Save yourself a lot of heartache. While the staff is kind. At the end of your contract should you decide to cancel like I did they lie and lie then send you to collections and keep charging you. I got sick requiring surgery so I had 3 months left on my contract. I waited out the 3 months paid while not using the services then called and told the girl on the phone I wanted to cancel. She told me to send an email to the spa director which I did. Never heard back so I figured it was all taken care of approx a month later a girl called and said we are having trouble billing for your membership. I told her I canceled she asked how I told her I called and then emailed the spa director she asked me to call on a certain day at a certain time to speak to the spa director. I told her I was sick And getting ready to have surgery so could she please just have him call me. He never called. I have my surgery a few weeks pass and the same girl calls again. I told her he never called and she asked me to forward my email I originally sent to the spa director again. Which I did. Now this morning I get a call from a collection agency stating I owe them over 300.00 and they were going to continue billing me monthly until my account was current and I paid an additional 50.00 cancellation fee. Wait what I cancelled. This is ridiculous. I’ve never had any issues before like this. i was a member of a planet beach in California for a long time never had any issues when I cancelled. I did what I was told to do from the start and in the many phone calls from planet beach I was never told about or asked for a 50.00 cancellation fee. Also why would anyone pay a cancellation fee if they com pleated the contract? Like I said save yourself the trouble go to a different tanning place.

THISDEALDOESNOTWORK! Staff was very nice but very frustrating that they do not honor the check in deals. Makes me wonder what else they claim to be doing but are not following through on…

The receptionist, Sarah, was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The booths all seemed cleaned well and the décor was cute. I had a living social deal for 3 different treatments however they didn’t have all the options listed on the website. I really wanted a massage! Instead, I redeemed my coupon for an Oxygen Bar treatment, a «Slim It’ sauna detox wrap thing and then Red Light Treatment. First, the oxygen bar did nothing for me. I felt like I was in a hospital, without the good drugs. I never felt any spurt of liveliness or desire to sing, which is what I was expecting. Second, the«Slim It’ was basically me being wrapped in plastic and boiled. Like a very hot enchilada where my sweat is the sauce(gross mental picture, anyone?). Later, she told me the«blanket» got up to 178 degrees! Um, how is that legal? I felt like I was dying! Although, I’m sure it was beneficial for my health, I definitely didn’t enjoy it. Lastly, the Red Light treatment looked exactly like a tanning bed except it was infrared light, not UV. They menu listed all these benefits like increased elasticity of skin, less depression, better circulation, faster wound healing and a slow down on aging. Needless to say, I didn’t feel any happier, younger or tighter. I understand that red light therapy takes several treatments but still, it felt like a waste of time for me. I’m sure this place is great for simply tanning! But I will always be wary of these contempo spas where the treatments are done by machines aka robots.
