Ted Hardin has been teaching my 7 ½ year old son now for over a year and I can’t tell you how great of an instructor he is. Not only does he have the experience and knowledge of a great musician, he also has the super power of being the most tolerant and patient human being I’ve ever met! He has continually modified his teaching approach as my son’s interest, ability, and attention have changed over the last year. My favorite part of having Teacher ted come to our house to teach his lesson is that I get to hear my son talking with him about music, listening to Ted play some of his favorite songs, and then having Ted try and teach him parts of the song so he can practice on his own during the week. If you have a youngster who has any interest in music, I highly recommend Ted for his skills, ability, and patience in teaching them. I can only imagine what you can do with an adult who has the focus, interest, and drive to learn to play guitar. I’d give PowerStrings 10 starts if Unilocal would let me!

Ted has been an absolute delight to take beginner guitar lessons from. He is patient and supportive, and very flexible about helping me to tackle the songs I like (which made me want to learn guitar in the first place). He is obviously an incredibly talented musician which is a pleasure to see.
I cannot imagine a better teacher and give him two thumbs up (but would give more if I had more). If you want to learn to play the guitar from a wonderful teacher, who will make you feel good about yourself, look no further.
He is flexible — will come to you if that’s easier or can teach in a studio where your lesson can be recorded. His rates seem very low too me — an incredible bargain I’d say to be taught by such an accomplished musician.
