Average cost, average work on a split rail with wire; site left a bit messy, although they offered to return to clean up after I had already done so. Also, and more important to a homeowner, the installer’s choice and positioning of pieces from the supplied wood components(and orientation of a third gate) lacked any consideration for sight lines/prominence, and they admittedly stated they don’t really use that as a factor in installation. That communicates to me commercial might be their better game, or maybe their different installers keep up their standards differently. Huh. Maybe it’s just a roll of the dice? Job took 4.5 days instead of three, and communications with rep seemed slow. These things came as no surprise however, so they really don’t influence the commentary/rating – the lack of attention to detail does. **In the end** I’ll go to three, rather than two stars… one of the owners came out to address things and did so in a very respectful, understanding manner. I’m going to think the issues I encountered are a rarity, and I just got the wrong installer on the wrong day… might be worth considering this company, as they did eventually resolve things pretty well.
