South Square Chiropractic is awesome. I started going there several years ago when I was facing surgery for bone spurs in my neck that were causing horrible pain down my left arm. Dr. Palumbo worked with me for weeks and finally got rid of that pain by ensuring my neck was aligned. Saved me undergoing surgery and a long recovery.

Honestly, the only positive thing I can say about my single office visit with them is their attitude. They were polite. Other than that, it was not enjoyable. I felt completely rushed by Mr. Palumbo, and somewhat neglected. I went in for an appointment with numerous issues. Mid-back pain an tingling, neck stiffness, and a problem with my right hip popping frequently when I am laying down on my back. I had had issues with my right hip socket before that had been corrected by other chiropractors in one visit, instantly, just by pulling my leg the right way! He didn’t even bother to attempt to fix it. All he did was pop my back while I was laying on my stomach, then pop my neck on both sides. The entire adjustment took about 5 minutes, if that. And even then, only took that long because we were trying to figure out how to lay me to where my breasts didn’t hurt on his table.(I’m breastfeeding right now so they are tender.) He lacked confidence in the adjustment, saying he didn’t want to adjust me the way he wanted because he didn’t want to hurt my breasts. I told him«that pain will go away… my back pain wont. Please do what you need to do». So, he did his adjustment, then quickly had me get up and plopped me on a table that had an internal roller inside it to relax my spine, then left the room to attend to other things…(side note; there wasn’t even a place for my purse. I had to set it on the floor)… about 3 minutes later, he came in to fetch me and we were done. Really? He didn’t even touch my hip issue, and when I asked him about it, he said«I prefer to take on a limited issues at a time, to see how your body reacts» or some bologna like that. Can we say«hustler»? And in the end, none of the issues were fixed. The neck pain and stiffness went away for a half of a day but returned the next day. The tingling and pain in my back wasn’t fixed at all. In fact, it was made a little worse for a few days. And yeah, the hip issues wasn’t even addressed… Sooooo… The only reason I gave them two stars is because they were very polite and personable. Sorry, but it’s chiropractors like this that make me understand why people are so hesitant to see a chiropractors. Luckily, I’ve seen enough of them that I know how much good they can do if you see a good one! I have an appointment at University Chiropractic next Wednesday. They are a husband and wife team, and they specialize in pregnancy(both prenatal and postpartum) chiropractic issues and I’m very much looking forward to seeing them. I will post a review of their services once I see them.
