The pizza here is decent. It’s nothing special but it’s not bad either. The crust appears to be machine made, not hand tossed, but it’s fairly good. The cheese they use is exceptionally bland with almost no flavor. The sauce doesn’t have n abundance of flavor either. But overall, it’s acceptable but not something to write home about. Prices are too high. Large pizza is 16″. The regular veggie has only 3 veggies on it — mushrooms, peppers and onions. It’s $ 14. The super veggie which has several more veggies on it and is comparable to regular veggie pizzas in other restaurants is $ 17. That’s way out of line for a veggie pizza! So, the pizza is OK, prices are high, and the service is fine. There are better options in the area for good pizza at a decent price.

Ordered the Greek, it came with only two toppings, feta and spinach(frozen). I judge the quality of a pizza by the crust; this crust was a big disappointment. It looked like it was pre-made, possibly machine made off-site and frozen. It was far from authentic: too thick and with under-developed glutens, more like quick rise bread than crust. This place might as well be a chain with its lack of quality. $ 15 is way too much for this yucky«specialty» pizza!

After moving to Durham, we were really disappointed with the pizza in the area. It’s a sad state if affairs when Dominos is the best pizza in town. After stopping in for a random slice, we found out that Pizza Spinners delivers to Durham. We’ve ordered from them three times now and hands down they’re the best delivery food in the area. Friendly staff and drivers too.

Pizza Spinners provides the pizza for Planet Fitness’s ‘first Monday of the month’ pizza feed. Unlike the shitty place that provides pizza for the Rochester Planet Fitness, Pizza Spinners makes a great pie and doesn’t skimp on the toppings or quality for the mass feed. Because of this, I gave Pizza Spinners a try. I have gone there about once per month for the past year because I work close by. The menu offers standard pizza joint fare. The food, however, is of above-average quality. I would possibly drive to Lee from Rochester to get a pizza here, considering that there are no pizza shops in southern Rochester that offer a satisfying product.(In north Rochester, Papa Ginos and NE Pizza are what keeps me from not dissing all Rochester pizza shops.) The service at Pizza Spinners is top notch. The food is always hot and ready when I pick it up. Once, they screwed up an order and they drove right over to my workplace to correct the mistake. The prices are actually a little lower than what you would expect to pay for a great product.(Sheesh, I hope they don’t change their price structure after reading this!) AND, best of all, when you buy a sub, they hand you a complimentary little bag of chips to go with it. If you went to any other place, you’d be paying a buck to add a little bag of salty chips to your meal. This is what makes Pizza Spinners a pizza ‘winner’ with me.
