Sutton Station is a nice shopping center right off the American Tobacco Trail and Fayetteville Rd. I love going to Dulce Café and Bella Trio Day Spa. The area is quiet, with trees and benches and there are plenty of office spaces for businesses. I do wish it was more populated, it’s almost like a lost or hidden gem just by Southpoint that people forget about. There are still a lot of vacant offices, but with more visitors I think Sutton Station could do even better. It’s clean, easy to get to and I just love that you can walk there from the ATT.

This is just a hop, skip, and a jump down the road from the immensely popular Southpoint Mall. With this prime location, I’d expected it to grow a lot more than it has — but a couple years after opening, many of the units are still vacant. There are some random offices in the back; and up front, facing Fayetteville Road, you’ll find some local gems — Victoria’s Sweets, Bella Trio, Bocci, one of the Nantucket locations, and a couple of cute boutiques. If you crave the convenience of having a spa, bar, bakery, and Italian restaurant in your neighborhood, while also being just a few yards away from I40, then consider renting one of the second story apartment penthouses.
