TCR: Triangle Cellular Repair

The manager contacted me shortly after my issue and offered to fix the screen issue immediately. I’m so thankful to them for their great customer service. I didn’t expect it to be so seamless. Although there was a problem with the original service, they were so proactive in their care to fix it that I will easily return (but hope to not have to!)

Great staff. Very helpful. I’ve been twice and have not had to be there for longer than 15 minutes either time. Great business.

This review is a little late since I got my phone repaired (brought back to life!) last week. What can I say! Now that my phone is working again, I can’t spend a minute away from it: D
Jokes apart, my Galaxy S5 died after salt water damage, and stayed that way for 2 weeks (rice black magic failed me miserably). My first trip to their store was okay, and the person who looked at my phone (for less than a minute) unconvincingly suggested changing the screen for $ 200. I went back home and considered repairing the phone myself (there are plenty of videos to open up an S5 and clean/​repair it). However, I didn’t want to risk cracking the screen and/​or causing further damage. So I went back again. This time I was super lucky that the store manager, Mike, was there to help me out. He spent over 15 minutes discussing all the options with him. He showed me some unlocked phones, and even asked me to buy a new, cheaper phone from Verizon since he didn’t think that the phone would be ok with a screen replacement. But I was not yet ready to let go of my phone which had so many precious pictures in the internal memory. So I asked him to open the phone for me to check the status of internal parts and then take a call. Now this was a very risky move — since he didn’t know if he would get the business of replacing the screen, and I didn’t know if he would break my current screen while opening it. Once he knew that I knew that he could do it without putting a scratch, he did it. I heard an ecstatic «Wohoo! We did it» from the room where they were working. Mike showed me the salt corrosion everywhere, especially on the screen, but no damage to the mother board. So long story short, he replaced the screen on my dead phone and brought it back to life. Every dollar spent on the repair was worth it, since the experience was wonderful (repair was done in 10 minutes) and I have my phone with all the photos intact :)
Definitely recommend!
P.S — Water damage does void warranty, so I have some minor issues with the resurrected phone, but it’s nothing I can’t live with.

I took my iphone 6 plus in for a cracked screen last month after it was dropped on a tile floor. I was assisted immediately. The salesman was very helpful and nice. He checked my phone for any other damages, luckily the drop only affected my glass screen. They had my phone fixed within 20 minutes! My phone looked as good as new! The cost was $ 215, but I figure that’s much better than the cost of purchasing a new iphone 6 plus! It’s been fixed for over a month, and haven’t had any problems so far. Hopefully I won’t run into this problem again, but if I do I know where I will be taking my phone!!!

Took my iPhone 5s in for a cracked screen. Price was as advertised, customer service was awesome and quick. Only about 20 – 30 minutes for my repair (not many people there at the time). Got a case and screen protector for reasonable prices too. Plus the warranty is great. Will definitely use them again if needed.

I had a crack screen for 3 months and I broke down to get it fixed. Mike was extremely helpful and super honest. By far the best customer service I have had in a long time!

I had an excellent experience at this store, and I would highly recommend Triangle Cellular Repair (TCR) for anyone in need of cell phone or tablet hardware repairs. It is located inside the Southpoint mall on the first floor next to the entrance to Belk (see my picture).
TCR offers a wide range of repair services (cracked screen, broken buttons or ports) for a variety of brands (Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola). Also, it seems that they perform nearly all of their repairs on site and you can expect a 30 minute wait or less (super fast). Clearly this is convenient for someone who needed to run other errands at the mall anyway.
What I really liked about this business is that they are focused on building a solid and reliable reputation. They advertise their favorable Unilocal reviews (of which I am clearly adding) and this is exactly the mindset you want to see for a business in the repair service industry. Most people (including myself) care deeply about their phones like a member of the family, and they want to know the person dealing with it is both capable and charges a fair price, much like a good mechanic. Therefore it is important to establish a reputation for honesty and quality service.
Case in point was my experience. My phone had not been charging, and I figured there was an issue with the charging port that needed to be replaced. I brought it in to TCR fully expecting to pay the $ 50 fee for fixing such an issue (see the website for prices). However, I was pleasantly surprised when the technician simply found that my charging jack was dirty and needed to be cleaned. That was it. Usually they charge $ 10 for such a minor service, but she decided not to charge me this time as I was a new customer. This is both an example of excellent service (I was in and out in under 5 minutes) and honesty.
TCR also buys and sells used devices, but I did not have an experience with that part of their business so I cannot comment on that front.

Absolutely superb, courteous service. When my repaired iPhone glass started to show a bit of separation, I brought it back and they repaired it on the spot. No hassles. Would recommend to anyone.

EXCELLENT service! I am clumsy enough that I have had to take two phones here.
The first one (iphone 5s) was fixed fairly cheaply (something like $ 90 to the $ 170 that the Asurion phone insurance company would have charged me). Super fast. Super easy.
The second one (another iphone 5s) — I got «fixed» for free. It was cracked and partially bent, such that the SIM card was not working properly. TCR gently hammered it flat and the phone could read the SIM card. I was not charged for the hammering! I decided not to replace the screen as I knew the phone was on its last legs. But it managed to hang on for another two months!
I would HIGHLY recommend you take your phone to TCR before going to your provider for a replacement or filing an insurance claim!

Love them. Literally fixed my phone as I took two laps around the mall. $ 80 to fix an iPhone 5, more if you want tempered glass. Worth it to not have to do it myself with a minuscule screwdriver!

Fast, comprehensive service! I can recommend this repair shop without hesitation. I brought in my shattered iPhone 5 and sat in the waiting area to address Christmas cards while it was repaired. My phone was ready for me before I could address three cards. I would definitely use their services again though I hope I don’t have to do so anytime soon.

Great service, super fast turnaround, and a very fair price.
I took my wife’s iPhone with shattered glass to them for repair. I was greeted and helps as soon as I walked in. Once they gave me the price and I agreed to it, before I even gave my information, the owner himself grabbed the phone and took it to the back to start working on it. I waited in one of their their comfy chairs and low and behold, in less than 15 – 20 minutes, I had the repairs phone in my hand walking out of the store.
I believe they have parts/​components in stock for most other phones and tablets and repair all. There were a lot of customers in and out and they all seemed to get fast service.
They also give you a 90-​day warranty for all the work they do. I definitely recommend these guys. Hopefully I will not have to go in there again but if I ever need phone/​tablet repair, this is the only place I will go to.

We found Triangular Cellular on Unilocal and the recommendations were great so we thought we would check prices and time to fix a badly damaged iPhone 5S. Prices were less than we had found anywhere else in the triangle area and it took less than 30 min to repair.
Highly recommend Triangle Cellular as it is convenient (can shop while you wait), priced right and quality work. They also noticed battery damage and repaired that within the 30 min…

I just came up to visit some family up here and we brought my Uncle’s ipad3 to Nick and his crew — they really took great care of us! Not knowing a whole lot about how these repairs work, they mentioned how all their parts are legit, original parts and not knock off… which was definitely a relief… since my Uncle’s screen was completely messed up.
They had us out the door in under an hour, I’d definitely recommend to these guys to my friends! :D

Could not be more pleased with the service here. I brought in an iPad that had what I thought was the white screen of death. We were greeted promptly with a smile. After giving the associate the iPad for inspection, he informed us that it was probably the LCD. He gave us a quote of $ 149 for parts and labor and told us it would be a couple of hours, but he would get to working on it right away. I left the mall and no less than 30 minutes later, I got a call saying everything was fixed!
Overall, great and efficient service. Will definitely recommend them to others. Oh, their worked is also covered by a 90 day guarantee.

Super fast service! It took longer to find a parking space than it did for David to fix my S4. I highly recommend this place for quick mobile repairs.
