The Tidy Maids

I ordered a deep cleaning, telling them beforehand that my kitchen had greasy spots yet they came without any degreaser. They did a less than satisfactory job, the kitchen was still dull, the floor was not mopped carefully, the shower door and fixture was not cleaned at all. I am giving them two stars since they did clean the blinds. Other than that, this three hour deep cleaning is not even comparable to the regular cleaning by the other company I have used, which is also over one hundred dollar cheaper.

We’ve used several other services in this area. Tidy Maids has been doing our home for a year or more and is the best. Very reliable and thorough — great job every time they clean our place.

I have used TM now a few times and it has been awesome. I have tried others, more expensive and such, but TM has ‘em beat in price and quality! I am a fan and a recurring customer. They come in a team of four or five people, they split up one person per room (I have small rooms) and within an hour the whole place is clean! Theyw ait for me to inspect it and if anything is not to my liking, they fix it immediately! Now THAT is customer service!

I just had my house cleaned. they did an AMAZING job. i have had others come to clean on occasion and didn’t come close to this. I have also never had a maid service that I liked enough to have them come back. they had 3 people cleaning, and they cleaned EVERYWHERE. I notice details and they certainly cleaned well. The microwave was cleaned, filthy wood blinds wiped down, and they even dusted my ceiling fans. I have two small children and a dog and my house smells wonderful!
I was able to communicate very clearly with them when they arrived and didn’t need to give them any specific instructions — they just cleaned. I wasn’t at home when they were cleaning and felt perfectly safe.
I had priced around before I called and they were much cheaper than others. They were even early to their appt time!
I immediately called and want the same 3 person team to come next month. I am very very happy with the service and hope I can fit this into my budget forever.
This is my first review on Unilocal even though i look at the reviews a lot… so i hope that shows you how genuine i feel. try them, you won’t regret it.

I wanted to treat myself and splurged on some housekeeping services while I got some work done. But this house «cleaning» could have been a Seinfeld sitcom. It was ridiculous and incomprehensible but also a little sad. It was like watching teenagers try to clean a house for some extra spending money, just hoping you would be happy and give them a break. I can laugh about it because it was so bad but it is also upsetting that it was a huge waste of time and money. When they came they asked for my priority areas and I let them know #1 kitchen, #2 floors, #3 bathroom. One person worked in the kitchen for 10 minutes with a damp rag and then she was done. I will let the picture of my actual kitchen sink speak for itself– right after they left. She actually cleaned around a dirty glass, not bothering to wash it or even lift it up. Then she proceeded to mop the floors with a spray bottle and a chintzy mop. That is precisely what I do when I am feeling lazy so I did not need her to do it! They finished those three things to their standards and then started packing up even though they had only been there for 40 minutes. I can’t see how they would ever get a single repeat customer.
