This Vitamin Shoppe location may not be known by many in the Triangle. It is across from the Streets of Southpoint and it is tucked away in a corner near Best Buy. It is in the same area as the Chilis. If you are hoping to grab some supplements quickly this is a great option. It isn’t always the best price but you don’t have to hassle with shipping from online retailers. They always have the CytoGainer I am looking for as well.

Honestly, if you’re interested in supplements, your options are either here or GNC. I don’t think that my experience at this particular location of the The Vitamin Shoppe was particularly amazing, but I’m giving The Vitamin Shoppe as a company 4 out of 5 stars. Definitely pick Vitamin Shoppe over GNC. 1. Prices are cheaper: A tub of Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein(2 lbs) costs ~$ 28 here vs. $ 40 at GNC. 2. The discount membership is free vs. $ 20 a year at GNC. In addition, there’s a greater selection of products.

This location is very clean and organized and a decent size than some of the others I have been too. Customer service was okay. The first guy I asked a question to was nice. The other two didn’t really seem like they wanted to be bothered, you could definitely tell they worked there for the discount on muscule builders lol. All in all this is a meat head haven so don’t be alarmed when you walk in and see giant employees.

This is the only place for me. Educated advice! They have everything you need in supplements for your well being. Fish Oil is always a good supplement to take. If I had to just take one supplement, that would be it.

This place is an alternative to GNC for those among us who are health freaks. Did I just refer to myself as a health freak? This must be stopped. The strange thing is, the Vitamin Shoppe is actually a better store than GNC. Things are generally cheaper, though GNC’s rewards card functions a bit better. The Vitamin Shoppe is also much bigger, offering a greater selection than you might otherwise be used to. This place was recommended to me by a friend some time ago, and I’ve only been back to GNC once since(there was a mega-sale going on). The service is extremely good. It’s worth noting that these guys make recommendations seemingly based on what they think will actually do you the most good, not based on what’s the most expensive, a refreshing change from the bouts of mercenary, robber-baronesque glee that competing health store employees seem to revel in.
