Had a last minute appointment scheduled for Duke on Friday for Monday. Called University Inn and was still able to get the medical rate. We got the 2 double beds room and were extremely impressed. Room was huge. Beds were comfortable and each bed had 4 pillows of different styles from soft to firm. The desk staff were very friendly. The shuttle was on demand which I appreciated. The one gripe I did have and it have with every hotel is that the little coffee pots in the rooms never have enough creamers. Our room had none just 2 little sugar packets. Thank god they had coffee in the lobby at all times. I’ll definitely stay there again as I’ll be back up to Duke a few more times!

sorry to be the first to review this place but. several things severely soured our experience, we were met by unfriendly and inebriated people in the parking lot. Our room door was unlocked and open when we came back to our room, after several hours away (we certainly locked it when we left), and our window was smashed out mid sleep. we were then told we had to relocate to a different room. Despite the events and our complaint, no refund or discount was offered.
