My experience purchasing here has been a headache. My first bill with my new plan was $ 100 more than I was told it would be because the sales rep put the line on a plan not intended for smartphones. I was charged for each text message sent and received for a 2-week period, which totaled to almost $ 70. There were other fees that I was apparently charged for too during that time, so after speaking with a rep over the phone, I was credited $ 93 back to my account. I noticed that my plan was incorrect shortly after purchasing but had been assured that the rep had fixed the issue already when I returned to the store. Apparently not.

We stopped by Saturday evening to upgrade a phone; we had already decided that if the wait was too long, we’d just do it online and have it shipped to us. We were greeted promptly at the door by a nice young man(Brandon, I think) who helped us in no time flat. Seriously, we were in and out in 10 minutes time. Granted, we knew exactly what we wanted, so that helped. Brandon was very professional and clearly had a lot of experience as he was able to activate the new phone in less than a minute’s time. I was very impressed. A great experience.

For your basic mobile needs, they’re probably alright. Beyond that, avoid. I am due for an upgrade soon, and I figured an employee at this store could help me decide between several phones which hold my interest. I asked the lady that approached me if the LGG4 can be rooted, and if so, whether or not the bootloader can be unlocked. She giggled and said I don’t understand your question. Rather than seeing if another employee could answer my question, she stood there waiting for me to restate my question. So I did: «Can the LGG4 be rooted? If so, can the bootloader be unlocked?» I phrased the question perfectly clearly. Rather than admitting that she’s unfamiliar with the terminology and asking another employee, she proceeded to ask me, «Do you mean whether or not this phone comes unlocked and can be used overseas?» Yeah, ain’t nobody got time for that. It’s okay to not know the answer to every question. I’ll admit that my question wasn’t the most basic. The right response would be to ask another employee, or apologize and recommend that I look it up online. The wrong response is to act like I didn’t phrase the question clearly. Go to the Verizon Store at Crabtree. They’ll treat you right.

Had a better-than-expected experience here upgrading my iPhone. I went on a Monday afternoon in late summer. It wasn’t too busy. I was helped immediately by the very competent and jovial Justin. He had me geared up and ready to go in no time. I also got a $ 100 discount for trading in my previous phone. Ask for Justin and worry not.

I purchased my first iPhone here more than a year and a half ago and it’s still tickin. The service here is good and the people are knowledgeable. They helped my wife figure out why she wasn’t getting texts(as if we couldn’t do a little sleuthing on the internet, derp). However, if you are going to get iPhone accessories, Verizon’s kind of stink, and they are too expensive. The Apple store is just across the way in the same mall area. Go there for your iPhone accessories.
