I went here for the first time the other day and I don’t know why it took me so long to try it. I thought it was absolutely DELICIOUS and love their kids meal options. I had an italian grinder and my daughter had pb&j. We also had the house made chips(delicious) AND they have crushed ice! I also love that they really allow you to customize your sandwich as much as you want. I will definitely be back!

Good concept. Poor follow through. Tried the chicken pesto and the tuna. Chicken was sliced deli chicken, not breasts like I had hoped for. Bread was just average. Tuna was better than the chicken. Ate all of it as we were starving but prolly won’t be back.

I love this place, but I do have to say, the sandwiches are very expensive compared to the competition. But then, they offer far more on a sandwich than most. You should try it, but just be prepared… a 14″ sandwich, double meat, double cheese is $ 18.

Had the buffalo chicken sandwich with spicy ranch sauce. Overall, good sandwich. My sandwich was a little heavy with ranch, which made my it really sloppy to eat. I will go again and try a different sandwich.

Which Wich & I have a like/dislike relationship. I like the system, I enjoy how the bags are set up and the service is always friendly(although it always seem to take a little too long to make a sub…) but there’s just something that is never quite perfect about the sandwiches. Maybe the plethora of options is just too much or maybe I’m not a sandwich expert but I’m always slightly disappointed with the end result. Honestly I think the reason is that I’m creative with the toppings(please do throw on some jalapeños, oregano, caramelized onions and hot pepper mix – which FYI I wouldn’t order again – to my turkey sammy) but I don’t want my variety to be piled on like I only ordered caramelized onions, a light sprinkling would suffice. i.e. they try to pack too much onto your bun. Some might see this as a positive since in addition to the variety, you’re paying more then you would at a regular sub shop. I think what Which Wich is going for is a gourmet sandwich shop with just under gourmet prices but a subway feel, it’s a difficult mix. On the plus side, they do have some sweet deals if you sign up for their e-mails, and those offset some of the negatives which keeps me going back.

Gave this place a second chance but it just doesn’t do it for me… Very disappointed with the food… I feel like I cheated on Jimmy Johns and now I hope he takes me back SMH

Nice place for a casual sandwich. I’ve tried the club and the Cuban sandwiches, and both were pretty good. Just have reasonable expectations – obviously, the Cuban is going to be a glorified pork tenderloin & ham sandwich and isn’t going to have the authentic flavor found at a place like Old Havana. In any case, their meat is definitely higher quality than those of other chains(Subway, Jimmy John’s, Quizno’s, etc.). Being able to get your sandwiches toasted or skinny(with the middle part of the bread cut out) are also nice options. They have a great selection fresh veggies, sauces, and garnishes you can put on your sandwich. With no Potbelly in this area, it’s nice to find a place that offers a hot pepper mix. Actually, this is place is a great alternative for anyone who is from in area with Potbelly and misses it. Which Wich is a bit slower and more expensive than the bigger sandwich chains, but I think the step up in quality is worth it.

I like this place. It’s like an upscale subway: a little more expensive, but their sandwiches come with«house chips» a.k.a. repackaged salt and pepper kettle chips, plus the sandwiches are pretty tasty. They have three different sizes, which is really helpful. My wife and I shared the largest one, which was actually more food than we needed. We got the chicken pesto sub with all sorts of fixings. I was pleased with our meal, but wasn’t extremely wowed. I like the concept and the execution, which is why I’ll give it four stars.

Best place for midday sandwiches(and there are a few good ones nearby). Period.

Tasty sandwiches with loads of options. Prices are reasonable and you get a free sandwich after 10 purchases. Service has always been fast and friendly. Diet coke at the fountain isn’t the best, but otherwise, Whichwich is a solid choice.

Now that they have spinach, their salads are acceptable. But I swear that their shrimp is fake. I am almost positive. It tastes like shrimp-flavored flour. I took one apart and found nothing but breading. I called and they said it was real shrimp. Hmm.

For the past 4 years(Since I moved to SW Durham) I’ve been on a quest to find a sub as good as the ones served by a popular grocery store in the southeast which is not currently in the Triangle market. I’ve been to a which wich before but only once and until recently not close enough to try multiple times. Now I have what I’ve been missing a great sub close to my house. The choices are plenty with many veggie choices as well wich helps appease my fiancé’s diet demands.

«Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me» I gave the Which ‘Wich in Durham a second chance today. I should have stayed on the other side of 54 and gone to Subway, grabbed a $ 5 foot long and saved about $ 8. While the chocolate banana shake was passable, the buffalo chicken sandwich redefined bland, and was not edible until the extra quart of hot sauce was poured from the sandwich to the trash. The house-made chips tasted like they were pulled from a bag. My turkey sandwich from my previous trip was sweating more than I was coming from the gym. I’ve had my share of bad sandwiches in this area, but there is no question Which ‘Wich is the worst.

Toasted subs ordered via a checklist system reminiscent of Char-Grill(coincidentally located on the other side of this same shopping center). When you come in the door, to your right is the order board and a bunch of bags underneath. Decide which genre of sub you’re looking for, then grab a corresponding bag(the numbers help) and a marker to fill out your ballot. Next take it to the cashier and you can add chips and a drink if you’d like. Then your bag goes on the clothesline and down the assembly line until your sandwich is ready and they call your name(so don’t forget to write it on the bottom of the bag!). I got a 10 inch(medium size) Italian Grinder to go. My bag is in one of the photos tagged to this review. The total was about $ 8 with tax. It was a good quality sub that is most similar to Quiznos, if that is a helpful comparison. Toppings all stayed in while I ate, and it wasn’t a mess. That’s a big plus for me. I visited a little before 12:30 on a weekday. Most of the tables were full. I would go again.
