The owner of the Bed and Breakfast we were staying at suggested 220 House for a nice dinner. Well, it was not only nice but absolutely fabulous! The food and service were outstanding. I had a Nimble IPA on tap(excellent) a NY Strip with a cup of crab corn chowder, and vegetables. The steak was cooked perfectly which can be challenging because I like it well done. The crab corn chowder was the best, nice and spicy too. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the pasta primavera requesting it be made without the garlic sauce. She absolutely loved it and the vegetables in it were so good that we were actually swapping each other’s vegetables because we both were enjoying them. I rarely care much for vegetables, but these were memorable. The restaurant is well maintained and clean. We couldn’t have done better for dinner!

My boyfriend and I went to 220 house for dinner after a day of hiking. The restaurant is nice and clean but not overly fancy. We got beers and ordered our dinner — the boyfriend got steak with a side salad and steak ale soup and I got a veggie burger with mushrooms. The soup was absolutely fantastic, perfectly rich and creamy. The steak came out delicious and piping hot. My sandwich was mouthwatering and was served with a side of chips. Our waitress Cara was extremely nice and served us very promptly. Overall we had a fantastic experience at the 220 house and would not hesitate to recommend to everyone. Kudos to the staff for making our night very enjoyable.

I had a meeting in a nearby town(Forksville). I ended up staying at the Hotel Harrison. The restaurant and hotel are great. Very good food with a very friendly staff. I had the salmon, it was great.

We were staying at worlds end state park down the road and needed some good cell phone service todo work from. Turns out that you have to drive to Dushore for any decent cell phone reception. After that long drive you are gonna get thirsty. When you look for a place to drink you end up at 220. Once you get to the bat they have excellent IPAs on tap and the service is second to none.

Went for lunch and ordered 2 small plates and a salad for 2 people. It was the perfect amount. The Harrington Salad was absolutely fresh and delicious. It was full of flavor. The Light Pork Soft Tacos were also delicious. The meat was tender and the ingredients were fresh. It was served with chips and salsa and the salsa had a kick. Our 2 crab cakes were a good size and crispy on the outside. They had good flavor and the dipping sauce was yummy. I did think they had too much filler though. Needed more crab, less filler. Kara was a friendly and attentive server. It was a hot day and even with a full patio she kept our water glasses filled. We sat outside on the patio. Music plyed in the background. It was very pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Went here this past Saturday and it was great! The outside patio was very nice and it was a perfect night to sit outside. Everyone at the table loved their entrees. I went with the special with pasta and chicken in a cheese spinach sauce and it was delicious. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area! Ps Patrick was an all star

This was an UNEXPECTED stop on our way to a meeting… and what a GREAT stop it was! Much like finding a hidden treasure. First, the restaurant: GREATFOOD, EXCELLENTSERVICE, and ELEGANTVENUE! Ordered the American-version style of the Quebecoise«poutine»(Fries, cheese and crunchy tortilla strips, sans the gravy), the chili bowl and the Chicken Alfredo: I will rate all of them with FIVESTARS! All of the appetizers and entrees were delicious, well presented and more importantly, the VALUE of our entire meal EXCEEDED its pricing by a long shot(not to mention that the entire experience exceeded our expectations in a very favorable manner). Not least was the superb service: friendly, professional and very attentive staff. Because of the delicious dining experience, we decided to stay at the restaurant owner’s hotel: Hotel Harrington… also reviewed separately. 220HOUSE is FIVESTARS for VALUE, TASTE and VENUE. Highly recommend as a MUST-EAT!!!

This review is completely non biased since we do not know the owners or staff personally. We have been here several times and have had wonderful experiences. The restaurant is small but quaint, nicely decorated. Overall, the food is good but could be slightly better as far as favor. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. They make a very good cosmopolitan! We will definitely be back since we live close by. It’s the best restaurant in the area by far. The owners bring«class» to the tiny town of Dushore!!!

Been coming to Dushore for years to hunt. The three of us always went to the Whistle Stop for dinner and drinks. Just found out the Whistle Stop has closed its doors so we had to find an alternative for dinner. Went to the 220 Grill at the Harrington Hotel in Dushore. We each had the shrimp chowder to start and its was very good. For our main dinner we each had the 220 Burger on a pretzel roll. The burger was cooked to order and also very good. We sat at the bar and Patrick was the bartender and was friendly and did an excellent job! We will be back at deer season.

This place is a true gem in Sullivan County. The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful. I have been several times and ate almost everything on the menu. I have never had a bad dish. If within 30 minutes of this place make sure you stop in!
