This is a great community library. The librarians are very friendly and helpful. The kids section is set up nicely with some computers set up just for the kiddos with kid-friendly games and videos, lots of seating for the little ones(and adults), plus some convenient baskets with board books for the really little ones. There’s also a wall with circular cutouts that kids love to curl up in to read their books. However, the highlight of the Duvall Library is story time with Miss Jenn. She is amazing. She picks age-appropriate books and activities and doesn’t force the toddlers to sit still. She reads the energy of the group that day and adjusts her activities to fit. Love her!

Wow, writing the first review is a lot of pressure for this studious girl. The Duvall Library is big, renovated, has a ton of computers available for use, and a long table against the wall with outlets for laptop use. In many ways, it’s great. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t take off 2 stars for allowing loud, outdoor-voice conversations inside the library. In fact, one of the head librarians was helping a girl find books and was extremely loud while the girl was attempting to stay quiet. If they can work on using indoor voices, and preferably library voices, then they may just get some extra stars.
