Emma Etemadi, DDS, PS

I have been to many dentists over my seventy years, and the treatment I receive now at Duvall Family Dental is the best I have found. The staff is very friendly and caring, and Dr. Etemadi is the most gentle and considerate I have found so far. I would recommend her to anyone looking for good dental work.

I also am a «dental phobe»…have many anxiety issues and hadn’t seen a dentist in a very long time. It took me a couple of years to just pick up the phone. But when I did Beverly answered and made me feel like I was the only person she needed to talk to that day. She understood my fears, explained everything about oral sedation and understood how hard it was to even call them. I had my procedure done with medication to calm me and it was the best visit I have ever had. The rest of the staff are just as caring and kind. I would absolutely recommend anyone with ANY fears to call and talk to them. I won’t ever enjoy going to the dentist but I won’t fear it anymore. They are all amazing. Thank you Dr. E!!!

First of all, I’m totally phobic about the dentist! A terrible experience as a kid has meant that I’ve put off regular dental care for years. But a recent broken tooth forced me to find some help.
Starting right from my initial call to set up an appointment, the staff have been wonderful and caring. I explained my fears and was assured that Dr. E would do everything in her power to make sure I stayed comfortable throughout.
My cleaning and initial exam was thorough, gentle, and hardly scary at all! At no point did I feel that my anxiety was disregarded or that I was somehow a bad person for not having been to the dentist in years. I felt that Dr. Etemadi wanted to partner with me to not only address my teeth, but to help me manage my dental fears as well.
Yesterday, I spent most of the morning in «the chair» having some major work done (crown, fillings, etc). This was done under conscious sedation. All I can say is WOW! I have some flashes of memory of the day, but for the most part, all I remember is being calm and comfortable. I came home (with a driver) and slept for most of the afternoon. But Dr. E called yesterday evening just to check up on me. I’ve never had a dentist call after an appointment!
Dr. Etemadi and her entire staff ROCK! Am I still phobic about dentists? Duh! Some things won’t change in one appointment. But knowing that I can get through major work with Dr. E, her staff, and some good drugs means that I’ll be back to finish the rest of the work I need to have done. And then, I’ll be able to move forward with regular checkups & cleanings.

Dr. Emma Etemadi and staff were incredible. I had been dentist hopping for the last decade, after my dentist of 20+ years had retired, and was looking for an amazing dentist when I was referred to Dr. Emma Etemadi @ Duvall Family Dental.
In recent years I had had a dentist who wasn’t professional, canceled appointments at the last minute, minimized me, and over-​billed me, so I was needing a new dentist.
In meeting Dr. Emma Etemadi, I could tell instantly that she is honest, had a firm handshake and had an overall demeanor of integrity. During my appointment, her and her staff were incredibly friendly, gentle, and professional. For the first time in 10 years I felt that my needs were met!
Following my appointment with them I received a courteous and personalized ‘Thank– you’ card from her and the staff! Loved this!
